I don’t trust them to do anything right!the stadium costs maybe/are covered by the non football events, but to get out of the championship you need thus typoe of players ( maybe 6-7 new players £100m+) then when/if back in EPL you then need perimership players maybe another £250M
do we believe ENIC would payout that money
The thing is though we have all had the mindset that we will never get relegated like its beneath us as a club or something, its a bit snobbish I guess but then for such a rich club it should be, we can't though get into the mindset that we would just bounce straight up though ! What happens if we go down and only make the play offs first season and don't win the final, honestly the more i think about the prospect of this, the worse it gets for us, its absolute madness that we decided not to sign anyone in Jan and whenBrennan gets the winner tonight it will be the icing on the cake!I’m coming to terms with going down
We can still get Poch
We get rid of the smelly cunt players
We have a great reset.
We bring through Vuskovic and Moore
We still have the best stadium and highest ticket prices in the league.
We get cold Tuesday nights at Stoke !
Yep. I take your point. It's madness to have sold Johnson. Actually it's a straight sackable offence for Lange. And ENIC, while they might be thinking "oh, we'll replace him at the end of the season" have there made another big mistake, because, yet again it screams "we tolerate incompetence here". This is the manifestation of culture. The thing is though we have all had the mindset that we will never get relegated like its beneath us as a club or something, its a bit snobbish I guess but then for such a rich club it should be, we can't though get into the mindset that we would just bounce straight up though ! Yeah I get the reason behind selling him , however the fact we never replaced him or his goals and Kudus got injured the game after he was sold, yet we still decided we didn't need anyone in, thats absolutely fucking criminal!!!!!Yep. He should ONLY have been sold if we had a deal done for a replacement. No ... "we'll sell him and hope to do a deal" nonsense. That is straight sackable.Yeah I get the reason behind selling him , however the fact we never replaced him or his goals and Kudus got injured the game after he was sold, yet we still decided we didn't need anyone in, thats absolutely fucking criminal!!!!!
It's like that Leicester title winning season only in reverse
Things just seem to be aligning perfectly for us to go dowm
Watching Fulham last night pretty much play the same way but they just didn't get the same fortune. An average player like iwobi again takes a long range effort on goal after space opens up Infront of west hams goal and as you'd expect of a player like that it's a nothing shot.
But against us it's pin perfect
Guess that Europa League win wasn't free

Just winning the league and us going down in the same season must be every Gooners wet dream!Woolwich win the quadruple, we get relegated at Stamford Bridge.
It’s like football fantasy written by someone who hates us. How the fuck is this even theoretical possible.
It’s not the be all and end all, but unfortunately it continues a very dangerous losing trend and it’s one of our more winnable matches to boot.Absolute fact that beating/getting points against Palace today or losing to them, neither guarantees safety or consigns us to that dreaded relegation.
There will still be 27 points to play for once the whistle blows tonight.
Nobody but nobody believe that we don't have better players than Leeds, or Palace, sloghtly , more arguably than West Ham and Forest.
It's now the time to prove it, but tonight is not the be all and end all. It’s just the next match.
What a story that could be...Former Tottenham and England midfielder Dele Alli, 29, is back training at Spurs as he seeks a return to football after leaving Italian side Como in September. (Standard)

ah, fuck it.

Give him one now if he is fit and can still kick a ball.*Give Dele a contract if we go down. Let him try to be the prodigal son returning home
I think the booing off the pitch they’ve received at home has given the senior players like VDV an excuse to already check out.Got to wonder what all the players think when they go on social media and see all our fans laughing at them for potentially being relegated rather than fighting back against it.
Does it give them confidence and a reason to fight or give them an excuse to not try?
The thing is I don't even think some of these players are champo level, regardless if we go down or stay up we need someone like Poch to come in and be given free reign to cull anyone who doesn't have the testicular fortitude to play for a club like ours!!!Then we will be playing with even more fire than the Jan window. To do that we would risk our chance of coming back up which would long term be worse financially. The players are under contract, if another club doesn’t offer their full amount they won’t go. There are players far higher on the list like VDV and Romero who will make our sales, you can’t fire sale your way back up.

And that fact, above all else, fills me with unimaginable dread. There is not a single person who trusts us to actually take care of business at this point.
