The Everton game I think we won

Let’s say we lose to Sunderland as they are generally good at home & we beat Leeds , looking at last seasons results we could end up with 7 points 😱

Free one

JPB is on the money. Tudor can give the instructions but the players need to make decisions on the pitch. They need to decide to go and win the game. Right now, tactics aren’t as important as just finding a way to get it done, and senior decision makers needs to be put on the back burner until the summer.

Former Tottenham and England midfielder Dele Alli, 29, is back training at Spurs as he seeks a return to football after leaving Italian side Como in September. (Standard)

Give Dele a contract if we go down. Let him try to be the prodigal son returning home

You do seem rather obsessed with me, specifically an unfortunate phrase in a post of mine - "imagined misery".

It was a poor choice of words, no doubt. Mea culpa.

In my defence, you and others have taken my words out of context somewhat. It was in reply to someone saying IF we could somehow rustle up a win after rivals and lost, THEN, they wondered, would people stop panicking. And of course, we couldn't, so my point becomes even more irrelevant.

So my post, and the contentious phrase, was imagining that scenario. My point - badly expressed - was that a certain group of people would cling on to wallowing in misery (as we saw immediately after Bilbao, for example). I stand by that, but obviously not the idea that any misery during the Fulham game or now is "imagined", of course it isn't.

Can we move on now?

This we need 7 points in this and this game is non sense. Its never how a relegation fight works. I was working for a football club, six points safe from relegation two games before the end of the season. Three teams behind us managed to overtake us and the club went down to fourth division in Germany.

Its all about mentality and fighting spirit. It can result in the most unexpected outcome of several directions.

Just focus on the very next game. Do your business today Spurs.

Not impossible!

Look where Leicester currently are.
the stadium costs maybe/are covered by the non football events, but to get out of the championship you need thus typoe of players ( maybe 6-7 new players £100m+) then when/if back in EPL you then need perimership players maybe another £250M
do we believe ENIC would payout that money

I'd imagine if we go down, and then come back the following year, ENIC will be very wary of mis-management. I think it may actually lead to them to sell a year or two after coming back up. They will have looked into the abyss and not want to go there again. They will also know that they need cash AND competence to do well, and that they've been spectacularly wrong in the past. Any sensible investment professional would tread very carefully after going through that experience tbh.

Got to wonder what all the players think when they go on social media and see all our fans laughing at them for potentially being relegated rather than fighting back against it.

Does it give them confidence and a reason to fight or give them an excuse to not try?

Woke up at 3am this morning.

1st thoughts: can these cunts that play for us actually turn up?

6 hours later. Same fucking question.

These cunts are upsetting my life balance.
