My old man's side of the family are all QPR. He was a Gooner, I only went Spurs to fuck him off. Worked out well.
Yeah you used to get a lot more QPR fans around. I grew up early 90s on an estate in Willesden so you were either Woolwich or us. Most were Woolwich fans so I chose us as I like the underdog. As well as seeing Gazza & lineker during Italia 90 . Following year we won the fa cup. Gazza free kick. Followed by teddy & kilnsmann upfront. Little did I know back then that it would be all downhill from there ha

Tudor Out

Ange In

9 match contract. 10 million bonus if we stay up.

Otherwise were definitely down imo.

Need a manager who can immediately get these guys to believe and know exactly what he wants them to. Eedknapp doesn't fit that brief and I can't think of any else who can.

As crazy as that may sound, I agree. It’s all about vibes and belief now, and Ange knows many of these players and if anything, he has the gift of gab.

I can't believe that with a quarter of the season still to play, relegation just seems inevitable.

It's not defeatist......it's just based on evidence that we've seen over the last 67 games of utter shit.

I never thought I'd see the day we'd get relegated but it looks like it will be about 6 weeks away.

There's not even a hint of a green shoots, just awful performance following awful performance.

We are at the desperation stage so we have to seriously think about sacking Tudor.

It's not even close to working

We are 100% going down. I saw it today. I’m sorry but I’ve seen it live with my own eyes now. I’m not even talking about the football. I’m talking about the intangibles. The effort, the aggression, the will to be first to the ball, the will to win. It’s gone. It’s not there. We are fucked. Well and truly. Utterly fucked. I was trying to be positive pre tonight but they just refuse to do the basics.

We have to sack him to even have a chance. In 180 minutes of football I don’t think we’ve played one pass between the lines.

Not picking Xavi was ridiculous. How do you play Porro right centre back?? Tudor is utterly hopeless. He’s made us worse if that was even possible.

But they are utterly clueless at the top and no doubt paralysed in their utter ineptitude.

I am actually somewhat excited for the new direction of the club, in the sense that massive upheaval will come and thus perhaps a new beginning. This will set us back decades, of course, and be the biggest humiliation of any PL club in the 21st century, but at least it’ll be something new. I can’t be arsed to even get out of bed half the time since Poch left.
Why do you assume that massive upheaval will come from being relegated? It would be an unmitigated disaster on every level.

ENIC won't sell a depreciated asset when we end up in the Championship. We'll lose most of the players with any quality in the squad (not that I mind that given what they've churned up). Sponsors will leave in droves. Whatever minimal pull we had as a 'big club' will be in the toilet. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be an events venue first and a bit of footy and NFL on weekends.

My dad's lot were Cricklewood.

Sacking Tudor is the only roll of the dice we have left?

But whi to get in?

The only name I can think of that would take the job and might just get a reaction would be Sherwood.

Unless we offer Poch a £20 mil signing bonus with a promise of £350 mil + as a transfer budget next summer if he keeps us up.

It's looking really hairy for you guys now. Seems a sombre mood on here and who can blame you?

I think it will be good for the pyramid / good for football to see a really established 'big' club go down, nothing personal to you. In fact I would rather it was Liverpool/ Man Utd / Woolwich.

But just like Leicester winning the league, Sunderland this season it gives notice to everyone that the status quo cannot be a given.

What do you think attendances would be like next season if you do go down? Could have Lincoln City and one of Wycombe or Stockport as home fixtures. Not rubbing it in, we had several years in the third tier let alone the second. So better times will return.

If relegation were confirmed, we could restore some hope that perhaps major changes in how the club is run could be in the offing, which changes would be to our long term benefit.

But I think we would need to see some semblance of a willingness to commit to changes from ENIC which has offered none even after a few moments of big talk. They sat on their hands this year and allowed all this to come to pass
But that's all contingent on ENIC fucking off and a new owner coming in who can establish a new culture in the club. I don't think ENIC entertains the idea of selling unless we're stuck in the Championship for a few years because only then will they realize that their investment isn't going to have its value restored.

It’s over. Tottenham Hotspur will be relegated and the football ‘world’ will absolutely love it. For our nearest and dearest foes, it’ll be the day they’ve all been waiting for, praying for - esp Woolwich who’ll be celebrating the league title (& maybe much more).

We all bask in reflective glory so we’ll have to suck it up from now until the end of time. Don’t know who ‘scripts’ football but fuck me, they hate Spurs.

As for the club itself. Well, ENIC or whatever they want to be known as, have fucked it. For us and for themselves…all those opportunities to sell up and make a huge profit gone. They thought they could bank on sustained mediocrity to keep their leisure project afloat. Ha, this will hurt it - badly.

The players - the worst and most dislikable squad I’ve ever seen in my time supporting the club (1981). I hope most of them suffer - the ignominy of being associated with relegation, shunned by their countries and doubted by ‘bigger clubs’. I know I’m grasping at straws here cos football is a disgusting industry.

I’m out. Done. Will give my seat away for the remaining games, if there are any takers. Finished with football and Spurs. Hats off to those who stayed tonight (I went at HT) & those who will still go next season.

In the words of the general, “there used to be……”. Well, you know the rest..,

Fully agree.

We've been a zombie club for 8 years. Each passing year my interest has lessened.

At least now there will be a change. Hopefully we get a manager in that knows and cares for the club (Poch or Parker) and rebuild around of core of young (British) players. Build some connection with the fans again and move away from this globalised corporatised mess we've become.
