Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm a big fan of View From The Lane.

They have all really laid into Tudor and it's very hard to disagree with any of it. He hasn't improved anything, we are still playing shit football, hes been very disparaging about players especially after fulham which isn't the way to deal with this situation etc

I would genuinely get rid of him now and get someone in who is a motivator/ arms around the shoulder rather than this lad who has actually made us worse which is some achievement.

Don't get me wrong where we are isn't on him but 3 shit performances on pitch, poor performance in post game interviews and his style of management not working is justification enough to get rid of him and try a hail Mary to keep us up because ultimately that is what it would be.

Fair play to whoever those fans were for giving their opinions to the VV and the Lewis mob for 3 reasons 1) being able to afford a £20k season ticket 2) for making them accountable 3) for not ranting and swearing which means that their criticism cannot be dismissed as over the top or drunk fans etc We all know that the hardest criticism to take is the reasoned well argued and non shouty type, if someone swears / rants etc then it's very easy to dismiss it

De Zebri Interesting.

Feel like someone in the club doesn't really want poch. Irrelevant now as de Zebri isn't working in the championship

I'm not anti Tudor but what can we expect when our board appoints a someone with no PL experience to an impossible job...he's right out of his depth but that's not his fault....it's down to the idiots who appointed him...I feel very sorry for him...

Said this to my mate at work. Bringing Poch back is an immense gamble for the leadership. The fans will be with him - not them - whatever happens, and they will not have an unpopular sacrificial lamb to take the flak. Their every move will be under constant scrutiny. He would unite the fanbase (well, the vast majority) and any failure to support him or undermine him could be catastrophic for them in many ways - attendance, merch sales, everything.

Common sense, Tudor should see the season regardless. Changing another manager with 8-9 league games to go is a brainrot symptom mostly people online have and that won't change the outcome at the end of the season anyway.
It could still make sense to change again if things still go max pain from here but as much as I thought they might pull the trigger last night, in the cold light of day, they have to stick to their convictions a bit longer than 3 games

I listened as well. Usually think it’s the best pod for Spurs.

Honestly felt that episode reeked of smug, magnanimous bullshit when they spoke about Tudor. They were all so certain they are right that he’s not the message needed and what’s needed isn’t a guy with a lifetime as a player and coach but some kind of “vibes man “.

They might be right but listening to them just made me think Tudor might just get his message across after that Palace game.

I was asked to do a “Why I left at HT” interview for the Athletic today, but declined.

Just think the club should hold their hands up and admit they got it wrong with Tudor. Seen nothing to suggest he can gee the players up and get them performing. No point waiting till Liverpool which we’ll lose and would be a disaster if he’s still in charge for forest. Redknapp wants it so give it to him. Seems hungry to have the job which might rub off on our lacklustre unmotivated players.

We had one of them and we sacked him after he won the Europa.

Thought his lineup selections had improved. VdV's red unfortunately is an event horizon of sorts for assessing Igor's performance- it's hard to really judge anyone playing in such circumstances, ones in which anyone would look rather poor.
