The problem was, Levy spent it on a whole lot of shit.
Fucks me off every time I watch Woolwich and see Raya confidently coming out and claiming crosses, pinging passes.
We had a homegrown, really decent keeper on a plate for us that would've sorted us out for like 6-7 years. Brentford were asking a lot but we could've met them in the middle and got him for like 30-32m or something - less than half of what Pool paid for Alisson, Chelsea for Kepa, etc.
Nah, as usual we go for the budget pick and it fucks us. Buy cheap, buy twice as always with Levy.

We can't finish the season with this guy in goal. He has to be dropped.
Trafford if we stay up? I think Barcodes and others are interested though.
Raya gets seriously injured three or four times in every match though.
Sometimes I fear for his life, but he always manages to pull through somehow and soldier on.

In 15 minutes Kinsky caused us more goals with his feet than Vic has all season. Vic is not the best, but the abuse he's getting is absurd. So far from our biggest problem.

This is one of the issues with all of us fans - we know what’s not working, but we don’t really understand how the alternative is even worse.
RKM plays because we have no-one on the RW.
Vic plays because….Kinsky.
Frank is kept on because Tudor.

I think it is that bad right now.

what was the difference between CL groups and now? If anything now is the least pressure all season. We are expected to get beat, we definitely were never winning it all. This was a low pressure situation. At the group stage there was still some level of optimism for the season. At this point we know we are trash.
You play better teams so no chance to make up the next game with a stronger team / performance. It’s why you always used to see the reserves / U21s in the early stages of cups.
Crazy pressure at Atletico - anyone could have told him that. Maybe different if we were at home, but a solid performance, even if we got beaten would have worked wonders. Like Micky on Sunday, one players mess up has cost us confidence as well as (as you say) the expected points.
