Fucking disgrace, his head has absolutely gone and clearly doesn't want to be at the club, he was lucky to stay on the pitch tonight.
 
He isn’t that great either. Did sou ever seen him pass the ball through the middle like Romero does often? He passes the ball to Spence Romero or Vicario, or he just runs with it full speed. Defensively, got a lot of mistakes for someone who thinks he’s better than us. I’m tired of him.

Romero isn’t perfect, but he’s miles better CB than Van de Ven.
 
I really hope those who think Van De Ven is this star defender own up to their error, and start to put club before any fcuking player.

And I know the posters.

Van De Ven and his ego are part of why we are here, because instead of being dropped he has heen allowed to let his sh!tty attitude permeate.

He is an absolute embarrassment to himself and this club and has made a mug of those who lauded him.

Of course some won't own up to their awful misjudgement because they think we should be keeping 'top players'

He has to go regardless of the outcome of this season. He stinks the place out.

Think he was tailor made for Angeball where we had a high-line and tried to dominate possession. Didn't have to do that much actual penalty box defending and could make his calling card full sprint recovery slide tackles and interceptions. He's such a physical freak he basically got declared world class overnight off the back of those and the occasional insane run forward.

The more actual defending he's had to do, the worse he's looked. He's rubbish in the air, positionally suspect and proven to be a terrible character to have in the side when shit's not going well - really not the guy you want in a relegation battle at all, especially as a leader.

Hopefully any potential buyers put his form this season solely down to the team being shite and are still willing to pay big money. A year ago I wouldn't have wanted the club to sell for less than 70-80m but right now I'd take 40-50m no problem.

Sad how quickly it's turned around but he needs to go.
 
He's a left back i think. A tank steaming forward with the ball and able to get back. But the basics of defending....nah mate. And being a really lazy arrogant cunt at the minute.
