Management Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm no Levy fan and never have been but you've managed to do in less than a year what Levy couldn't in 25. TAKE US DOWN

Should never have been anywhere near this club (Levy possibly to blame for that),, and thats not just because of this current sh!t fest but mostly because he looks so unsuited and completely lacking in what you would expect from a CEO.

If we stay up and this bloke stays in situ I won't follow us and will turn to follow the AFC Don's. 10 mins walk from my place.

Had enough of this fraud overseeing things at this club..

The club have just publicly told players that we are now paying huge wages so expect a load of mercenaries looking for a pay day and players currently wanting to renew for higher salaries that they don't deserve, way to go Vinai.

This cunt was tonguing Levy's fartbox in that video when he initially arrived talking about how they've always been friends and how great he is. Now he's telling us how shit he was.
For all levys faults there's no way he wouldnt have splashed the cash in the jan window to try and save us. he knows how much of a disaster relegation is. vinai is out of his depth and has to go whether we stay up or not.

highest earner will prob be on about 50k though so not exactly mega wages in the grand scheme.

It's all relative though, it's still big wages compared to the rest of the league and these players know that we are paying big regardless because we have just announced it publicly, so what kind of wages do you think players who are interested in joining will be asking for?

the players we'll be after if we're in the champo won't be the kind expecting 150k a week i wouldn't have thought. Knowing lange he'll probably waste our budget on a load of kids who'll just get bullied in that league.

Absolutely not. We signed him for £35m and he's been utter dross. No one is buying him mate, especially when they know we'll be desperate to offload.
don't think playing poorly in this shitshow of a team will detract too much from his rep. did well at palace and chelsea and villa wanted him before he joined us. someone like leeds or sunderland or a promoted team might take him on. maybe even villa might go back in for him if they think they can get a good deal. depends how much we need the cash if we go down i guess. sell him or loan him in the hope we come straight back up. i guess a loan might be good if he does well and raises his value.

Let's do some simple maths...

Our wage bill is currently around £2.6m per week, if we 'half' it it sits around £1.3m per week (I know that's not how it works but generally speaking)

Currently the team with the highest wage bill in the Champo is Leicester who pay around £820k per week, we absolutely blow every team away in that division even if we cut our wages lol

Now couple that with the fact that players know that we are going to generally pay high wages to get us back into the Premier League, what do you think those players will be asking for knowing that we pay good money? They're not asking for pittance because they know we can pay and pay well.

And then you have to deal with your contract renewals...players who want to re-sign are going to ask for more money just because they know we can pay, it's either that or we risk them running their contracts down.

I think we need to be prepared for some of these mercenaries trying to rock up at the club just to get a good pay, could it be a repeat when Tony Fernandes was at QPR when all these players went there to fill their pockets...

Who knows but it doesn't bear thinking about and I don’t trust these fuckers to manage the wage bill properly regardless.

Who did Levy sign last January to help save a squad that was drowning in injuries and were still in a league cup semi final, Fa cup about to begin, a Europa league campaign and tumbling down the PL??

Lets not all of a sudden make Levy out to be something he never was

i get where you're coming from but i really don't think we'll be throwing around big wages if we're in the champo. we'll get rid of most of our high earners and bring in PL journey men who won't mind paying in a lower league or kids from leagues like norway. think a lot of people will be shocked when they see the level of talent lining up for us next season if we're in the champo.

Again, why would a club, knowing we're fucking desperate to shift him, on that walrus contract, be willing to give us nearly what we paid, and to boot, going to pay him £200k pw, over 5 years?

Villa wanted him on loan, to be a rotation player to juggle league and EL. They got a far better player as an alternative who's cheaper , and done far more than this sorry sack of shit.

Clubs will say they'll take him on loan, possibly with clauses that turn permanent, based on appaearences/success. But like with Elliott at Villa (who's also a far better player), clubs will freeze him out when it gets anything close to pony up time. In reality, a newly promoted team/fighting relegation side will take him on a straight loan at 50% wages, even if that because £100k pw for him is still absurd. I'd bet my life he'll be our highest paid player next season and won't be there. Or...... Worst case scenario, he doesn't go anywhere.

You're living in cuckoo land.

im just going on the lat time we were in serious pl relegation trouble in jan and we signed keane, defoe and i think palacios for big money. don't think levy really thought we were in danger last year. despite what vinai and lange thought we were nosediving this jan and desperately needed fresh blood. they thought they could keep their powder dry till the summer but by the looks of it it'll be too late by then. think levy would have panicked and splashed the cash in jan but we'll never know so who cares really.
