Must be true then!
Better than their win rate since he left, which is zero.Had much better teams in those two spells though. what was his win rate at west brom?
because in his pursuit of winning a trophy which i must say was a great achievement and great moment to be a spurs fan.Yes. These are all the reasons he was sacked for last season.
What on earth does any of it have to do with this current season?
Not quite "Twitter", it's the Telegraph who are a good source for us.
Fun fact, Ryan Mason has a 50% win rate in the premier league across 2 short spells as Spurs interim head coach
50% until the end of the season keeps us up comfortably
It’s whether the lack of his mates like Dier and Kane to back him up and set the dressing room tone would make a difference I suppose.
I fully understand people’s concerns with Mason and he wouldn’t be my first choice either.
What a shit show we’ve become!![]()
A 50% win rate is ridiculous if we expect him to win 50% of our remaining games…..it depends on the teams we played then and the teams we have to play now…..also the players we had then and now…..and the injuries we had then and now…..and our form then as opposed to. Ow.Fun fact, Ryan Mason has a 50% win rate in the premier league across 2 short spells as Spurs interim head coach

In both cases, I actually think it was yes.Sherwood had a 59% win percentage. It’s completely irrelevant when they both took over very different teams. Much more important question is did form noticeably pick up when they were hired and as far as I can remember from Mason it’s a big fat no.
It sounds ridiculous right now.A 50% win rate is ridiculous if we expect him to win 50% of our remaining games…..it depends on the teams we played then and the teams we have to play now…..also the players we had then and now…..and the injuries we had then and now…..and our form then as opposed to. I know I'm a simple man but what has any of this got to do with what was being talked about, that you were blaming last season on Frank being useless? It isn't a "trendy expression". It's a form of logical fallacy going back to the 1700s.
To borrow a more informed description
The question posed was
"How come Frank couldn’t make a similar improvement?" (e.g. a small improvement on the prior season's performance in the league)
The irony of that, of course, is that we're currently on 29 points from 29 games, having lost the last 3 under Tudor, off the back of a season where we got 38 from 38. So at this stage of relevance, the PPG is absolutely par, even being totally abominally shite.
In the squad yes, injured? I think also yes at different points of both spells.Did he have son and kane in his spells. This is whole different kettle of fish.
It sounds ridiculous right now.
This squad is more than capable of it
because in his pursuit of winning a trophy which i must say was a great achievement and great moment to be a spurs fan.
He sacrificed too much and the team has created a habit of losing.
We lost 40 games* in two seasons but the players feel vindicated because they won a trophy under him....so Thomas Frank....Igor Tudor are all uninspiring for them and in their minds not good enough because they won a trophy under Ange.
This team needs to be completely broken up.
*for context Villa under Emery have lost 49 times now in 4th season.
*Newcastle have lost 66 times under Howe and he is in his 5th season
Ability
Rejected by Dyche !Dyche rejecting is is the fucking cherry on the cake. 25 years of mismanagement has finally caught up to them. Whatever, it is what it is at this stage.
i'm all for being convinced that mason is the next big thing in management but then i just remember watching him look completely lost on the sidelines and i get the feeling this group of plyers won't respond to him. i'm about 70% convinced he'll be the man vinai turns to if they get rid of tudor but it's just a bit depressing really. clueless stuff. In the squad yes, injured? I think also yes at different points of both spells.
That Jose squad in 2021 was diabolical
Did he?Had much better teams in those two spells though. what was his win rate at west brom?
In both cases, I actually think it was yes.
Absolutely the second time after Stellini we looked better and got better results.
Just checked, 2021 was after Jose when the squad was toxic af. He lost the League Cup Final, then improved results and got us 7th in the prem.
So, tbh yes, he’s taken over toxic chaos both times and made us better
Yeah that's fine, we don't all have to agree about everything.Nah!
We’ll just have to agree to disagree on that one!
I thought he was just being a twat and reinforcing everything I think is wrong with him attitude wise.
That’s two managers he’s humiliated on the public stage.
