Terrible questions. Seeking some pathetic cheap quote. Hope he’s unemployed in a few months begging for bread in a doorway filled with piss.

He should’ve dealt with the cunt the same way the late, great Jim McLean dealt with sneaky, scummy reporters like that.

Have to assume he's going to revert to a back three with the players available. I do hope that if he does, he goes 4-3-1-2 with Richarlison and Solanke continuing up top together, and Xavi in behind. Those two forwards thrive on balls played in from the wide men, and we know Porro has an excellent delivery. Maybe Souza gets the nod on the left.

For all the faults of Romero and Mickey's this season, we have to play at least one of them, and in a back three, both with Danso alongside, who'd I'd tempted to play in the middle of that three.

The encouraging signs of that performance have been slightly undermined by just how poor Liverpool were too. They played with such little purpose. There's no way Forest or Leeds will be so undercooked against us.

Maybe sticking Palhinha on MGW will be wise, too.

I watched the Forest highlights from yesterday earlier and they were unlucky not to win that game. Going to be a hard match irrespective of their current form.

if he was clueless and needed to be sacked on saturday before the match, he's clueless and needs to be sacked today. liverpool are shit and the players just gave more effort as they face down a dire situation. it's what they always do before immediately returning to form. a poor effort against forest before the break is written in stone. it'll be a fucked up back 3 with some nonsense players in weird positions and everyone standing around wishing they were on break already. we're fucked with this guy and probably with the next guy too..

I thought this after the match but thought about it again and realised that there's no clear favourite or obvious choice to take over the role for the time being.

I think I am okay with him staying on for now because all I needed is us to show some fight abd character and act like he gave a fuck which means he's starting to get to theses players, we did that against Liverpool so I am holding my horses for now.

Igor will take great comfort from that post. Well done.

the back 3 with inverted fullbacks was lunacy. we'll see what he trots out sunday but i've seen us give poor effort going into a break after a decent performance way too many times so it may not matter who's in charge. i don't think the players believe in the back 3 crap and look lost and unmotivated when we play it.

play a back 4 with simons on the pitch. just let them play and grow into the match and we should be able to get a result if the players give the proper effort.

he gave us presence in the box and due to that we got a point at anfield despite vicario letting an easy shot in.... give some credit where its due, this is while having to start dragusin and danso who are league 2 players.

Only in the Tottenham universe where a coach is not delivering the results and (the whole world agrees) he is about to be sacked before crucial matches, for him to nick a fluky results against a bad team, and then the whole world flips 180 degrees to now give him more time. Only for him to lose the upcoming crucial match.

This is the dream scenario ENIC was fantasizing about, to not move their sorry a$$es and make a positive move for once. We are back at square one. We will lose the NF match if this guy is in charge.

Yes, the players ran and fought. That's what yesterday's performance was, run, fight. Did anyone see better movement? Better plan?, Better linkup play? I cannot count the amount of time I screamed at the screen for a bad pass, missed counter, defensive mistake, etc. It wasn't Brazil 1982 performance by all means.

Surely ENIC's dream scenario is to keep firing and hiring managers as it keeps the heat away from them?

Vast majority of these pussy journalists have never been in a real confrontation before. Just look at how much he squirms when Tudor starts to push back at him.

I strongly believe every man should get his ass kicked at least once in his life so no one ends up like that smarmy prick who thinks he can say whatever he wants without consequence.

Praying he's worked out that his back 3 doesn't work now

The 442 / 424 suits us

The back 3 could work. Just about.
But only with Romero, Danso and a motivated VdV
With Porro at RWB and Udogie at LWB

Tudor had any of that since he arrived and should have seen how biblically bad the other options have been.
Putting midfielders at CB and Porro there to have Gray outside is mental stuff.

I hope, after yesterday, he's realised this league is tough and you have to play the players in their best positions, not your favourite formation.
For me, it was that attitude that got Ange sacked, Amorim sacked, AVB sacked and all sorts of other coaches who just couldn't adapt or figure out that football isn't 1 formation of 1 single philosophy. No matter how good a team is, there has to be flexibility.
