Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Momentum and belief will get a team in our position safe , even its based on a single result like today’s.

It would more than mahoosively illogical to sack him now , pre the Ib and Forest . And hasn’t it been mentioned that his Assistant has just got his work clearance .

Like I said it would be completely illogical ; even by our standards .

Is that right? If so then we probably have to keep him to see what effect that has on things.

He has to get forest game. That point and performance to those players is huge. It would be a terrible decision to get rid after the players finally showed something under him.

I'm far from his biggest fan but you have to acknowledge when his plan has worked

I think it is also the players are clearly playing for him or at least the ones available are. You pull the rug and if the players don’t play for the next guy then we are totally fucked.

Putting these dickhead journos in their place, he's clocked the English media already

Disgusting journalists honestly. They always do their utmost best to set up these uncomfortable questions when they know our manager is a tough nut who takes no bullshit. They knew these guys will make us stronger and less fun to poke at. Ange had it rough as well. On the contrary, look at how forgiving the journalists are towards Frank. They love buttering him up knowing he's crap useless and will bring us down.

Yea completely agree. A lot of reports coming out after the Madrid farce that the players weren't having him etc but the way they played yesterday showed that they are playing for him and I think they ran the most yesterday in any game this season. That says alot and for the first time in 2 months I am actually starting to think maybe we aren't a dead cert to go down.

I am enjoying how he's simply refusing to play the game and pointing out how utterly pointless and trite so many questions from English journos are.

Almost every press conference and interview there's a load of the same banal, obvious shite that adds nothing. At least on the continent they properly grill the coaches on their tactics.

Looks like the hangman took a day's holiday yesterday - and now they're reviewing Igor's sentence.

Personally, I think he's not guilty - he simply arrived on the scene after the crime had been committed by others who had already fled.

Edit: ...and a few who are still lurking in the shadows.

Got to wonder if the players have seen that and said, wait a minute, we aren’t having this kind of thing and it prompted the response.

They're all Woolwich, Man U and Chelsea fans, so they love spinning these narratives that undermine the managers and players.

Ange was brilliant at pushing back at their crap and it's a big reason why the media were so glad to see the back of him.

It's great to see Tudor pushing back as well. The club desperately needs a strong leader who wont take nonsense from these morons who absolutely do not have this clubs best interests at heart.

The same goes for some of the Spurs fan social media twats who are more interested in their own profiles than they are the future of the club.

Yes but it's not juat that because they were never like this to Frank (who is established in the Prem now). They have their favourites and know how to set the narrative over certain managers and they have done this before with unknown foreigners who have come into the Premier League...they try to mug them off and ask them stupid questions to try and catch them out.

English media are massively xenophobic and snidey, they just hide it by doing the gaslighting routine.

This is why I like him and why I liked Ange.

We're treated horribly by the media. Even at our peak under Poch, they were selling off our players and saying where Poch should actually go.

We need to start fighting back. Stop taking the bullshit off them.

He's right. Why ask him about quitting? Why ask him if he thinks he'll get sacked? You're asking a manager who was brought in for a relegation fight if he's scared of a relegation fight.

It's nonsense and I love that he calls out the narrative they're spinning to increase the negativity around the club.

I will always back a manager that stands up for this club.

I prefer Tudor to Frank. I don't think he's a better coach but he's an alpha male and he's not going to let us be pushed around. He inspires me far more than Frank ever did.

I'm not going to pretend that Tudor is the right man though. There has already been countless red flags and I even thought subbing off Richarlison in the final minute when we had a corner yesterday was a bit strange. Alot of his team selections have been strange and obviously the kinsky decision is an all timer.

But our backs are to the walls atm, and we had to play academy kids away at Anfield yesterday. It would have been so easy to give up and rollover. In fact, everyone just assumed we'd rollover. But he's managed to get this group to fight for their lives and come away with a well earned point. He hasn't won me over but I'm more than happy to give him the next 2 games now. That group of players on the pitch yesterday were well coached and played with desire! The problem is the unavailable players probably don't want to play for him so the big test will be seeing if he can get a tune out of the likes of Romero, VDV, Gallagher, etc.

Anyway some hope at last and Tudor deserves some credit.

Have to assume he's going to revert to a back three with the players available. I do hope that if he does, he goes 4-3-1-2 with Richarlison and Solanke continuing up top together, and Xavi in behind. Those two forwards thrive on balls played in from the wide men, and we know Porro has an excellent delivery. Maybe Souza gets the nod on the left.

For all the faults of Romero and Mickey's this season, we have to play at least one of them, and in a back three, both with Danso alongside, who'd I'd tempted to play in the middle of that three.

The encouraging signs of that performance have been slightly undermined by just how poor Liverpool were too. They played with such little purpose. There's no way Forest or Leeds will be so undercooked against us.

Maybe sticking Palhinha on MGW will be wise, too.

The Kinsky decision was only a bad one because Kinsky fucked it. Loads were calling for Vicario to be dropped. It was just a disaster cos of the pitch and Kinsky's bottle going.

Tbh I admired that he was decisive about bringing him off after 17 minutes, knowing it would have everyone gunning for him. Frank would have kept him on and told us all he had a good game apart from the howlers.

In a Premier League were almost everyone just parrots each other, talks in clichés and sticks to the approved narrative, he as an air of not giving a shit for any of it. It's been marvellous watching these interviewers not knowing what to do when he tells them they are talking bullshit.
