Rules Referees & Impartiality: Can this be delivered on a consistent basis?

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Didn't see the game, Just watched the highlights.

I may be biased but What is going on here with the refs seriously.
How is that not a pen by VVD , or at least a var check for the ref to rewatch on monitor

It's all very odd, so quick to give a pen and sending off for Micky

Well it's not odd as I know the league is bent beyond belief but it's so blatant this season

Ref watch not even talking about it again.

Btw ref watch:

1) didn't talk about the Romero/Ekiteke push initially

2) didn't talk about the most blatant handball not given against spammers

3) not talked about this incident

VAR has actually made it worse, it's crazy. All it does is serve to highlight the inconsistency and when you then see the obvious pattern emerge that certain teams are officiated differently to others you are then faced with the next logical question. Is it corruption or unconscious bias?

It has to be one or the other.

We would be better off without VAR. The spontaneity would return to celebrating goals and the bad decisions will still continue to happen regardless.

I don't think anyone in the game wants goals to be ruled out because a big toe or literally a nose is offside. And the people that do want that are soulless robot.

It's no coincidence that football feels soulless and robotic

Yes they did talk about it. (and for the record talked about Romero/ekitike at the time, just don’t know why you just make up shit all the time)
Both just agreed as has literally almost everyone without massive bias, that it is was 2 players competing for ball, van dijk defended well, didnt push him, didnt pull him back or anything, Richarlison also did well, was strong, got his shot off. Just play on. No foul.

They also agreed that the foul by Souza on their young forward was not enough for a penalty

I don't think it was a foul but when you see the Palace one against Utd and realise the contact was softer then you would naturally feel aggrieved, neither were actually fouls IMO but it does reinforce the point that Van Dijk gets reffed differently and if anyone else was in that position it would be a harsher punishment.

People will say that Cunha for United went down and sold it. Same with Sarr against VDV

But Richy clearly isn’t expecting to get that call because he’s in a Spurs shirt and at 1-0 down he can’t afford to risk missing the chance to shoot by going down

They are ruining the game and at this point, overly impacting the outcome of football matches

I'm really disappointed the club or Igor haven't made a fuss out of this.. The bottom three clubs will be kicking up a big one if that happens to them because such decisions really do affect the final relegation outcome. And that is a big price to pay for any club in terms of being relegated.

I hope the club are writing to them in regards to it and shown it against examples where the call went against us. We did that a few weeks ago after the Harry Wilson/RKM goal inconsistency.

Unfortunately, I think we have to just keep making a big deal out of it. It's the only way! Everyone in the league wants us relegated from the PGMOL, to the pundits to all the opposition teams. It is what it is. But we deserve a fair shot and these biases are totally unfair. It's a boring league season, Woolwich play an awful style of boring pragmatic football and it looks like they are going to run away with the league. The only big story left is Spurs being in a relegation battle. They do not want us to win any game of football right now. And it's so obvious!

sorry if discussed eslewhere. That is at least 2 wins they have admitted Woolwich have been gifted by errros now (Everton the other). Any more? What a coincidence it keeps happening to them:

Brighton should have been awarded a penalty in their 1-0 loss at home to Woolwich on 4 March, the Premier League's Key Match Incidents (KMI) Panel has said.

The Seagulls were trailing to Bukayo Saka's ninth-minute goal when they pushed forward in the third minute of first-half stoppage time.

Need to call it out relentlessly. Staying quiet and playing the game only made them worse

Did they come out and explain the Jiminez push on Dragusin after we asked them to?
Does the THST say anything about getting the club to be more vocal on such matters? Not following them and personally don't thing the club takes them seriously, but that seems like the only outlet of voice from fans to the club. And honestly we shouldn't even be teaching the club to do anything.

:ange-facepalm:

"It is the third time this season Woolwich have wrongly escaped a VAR penalty in a game they have won by one goal."

That doesn’t include the red cards they’ve not been given or shit like RKM’s goal disallowed to go to 2-2

They really pushed the envelope this season
