Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The assistant confirming VDV/Spence subs were tactical. Nail in the coffin for Tudor imo.

Really bizarre to make 2x HT changes when you've been the better side and just been sucker punched at a set piece.
It looked completely unbalanced with only Porro on the whole of the right side.

"Nail in the coffin" might be a poor choice of words, given the news about Tudor's family relative but tend to agree

Knee jerk and wrong. Sounds more like blaming than tactical.

Either way it backfired catastrophically.

Winks showed more on the ball than any of our MF at the mo - he can control the ball and complete a three-yard pass that’s not always sideways.

But, yes, having Kane helped and also being the weakest links (Winks and Sissoko) in an otherwise decent team.
he was mr sideways, your memory is playing tricks on you, he got sold for a reason, hes also about to maybe go into league 1 for the same reason, hes shit.

our midfield isnt great, but our real problem lies in front of it, we have dogshit attackers. we could have zidane and KDB in midfield, wed still struggle to score with the shit we have.

ironically i think we have to play 3 strikers and get them all central and in the box and just create chaos. we dont have the quality to try and play clean football with width.

Sometimes just picking the right team is the difference between a good manager and not. Thing Redknapp was good at. He knew the make up of an effective team in this league. He liked pace and physicality but he also made sure he had ability in the team and players that produce quality. He definitely would have had Xavi playing from the start and maybe RKM on the right with some pace. The team selection today really deflated the momentum and energy in the stadium. Really poor starting team.
