Maddison maybe
Kulusevski maybe
Danso
Dragusin
Odobert
Sarr
Souza
Spence
Bentancur
Bissouma maybe
Kinsky
Austin

Those are the ones that might stay
If Coventry come up Madders will be off to where it all started for him. If not, then yeah he might stay.
Kulu is definitely not playing in the Championship.
Neither is Sarr, Spence or Bentancur.
Bissouma is out if contract.
The rest will stay.

Kulusevski might to get his body and career back on track

Coventry ain’t paying Maddison wages

Spence will probably go

Bentancur and Bissouma aren’t likely to find anyone offering them the wages. We have the option to extend Bissouma

There is more chance of me playing at CM for Spurs next year than Bissouma, they cannot wait for his contract to end

And im a 40-something year old washed up shit local area standard goalkeeper

If Coventry are promoted they will have 100m. Maddison is about 10m a year. As much as we rag on Bentancur he has over 70 caps for Uruguay and is still an integral part of their team. He's not playing Championship football. Kulusevski on his day is world class. Even a half baked Deki isn't playing in the Championship which isn't a league for players trying to resurrect their career. There isn’t a chance in hell they renew Bissouma. Sorry mate. The whole team barring those who haven't made it as a regular full international footballer will be off.

We're not literally selling/releasing 20 players.

If we go down there will be a fair few players far too good for the Championship that will end up staying whether they like it or not. We've got way more quality and squad depth than any other recently-relegated team and also, while it will fuck us financially, we'll be nowhere near as desperate as the likes of Leicester who were already walking a fine line with PSR and basically had no choice but to sell everyone.

Let's say we need to raise 150-200m through sales (already WAY more than any other recently relegated team) we can probably get that from like 4-5 players: Romero, VdV, Kudus, Porro etc. Naturally we'll also let a bunch of other players leave cos of wages, contracts ending, they're kicking off...but beyond a certain point we're just actively harming ourselves by letting players leave.

To come back up we need a squad that can boss the championship, and to do that we still need a strong enough mix of young talent (Gray, Bergvall, Moore, etc) and some legit experience too.

Anyone who thinks we're literally gonna sell every international player in the squad will be in for a shock. There will be some big names stuck here if we go down.

Agree- to add on to what you've said, we've not shown any ability to really do large amounts of business lately. I can see us selling 6-8 players, but beyond that it's extremely doubtful.

Yeah - if you actually look at the number of players relegated teams have sold it's not always as high as people might think.

When Newcastle went down in 2009 they played in the Champ with players like Nolan, Colloccini, Gutierrez, Nolan, Routledge, Enrique, Alan Smith, Andy Carroll. A big chunk of their their first choice PL team stayed with them and they smashed the Champ.

The only big sales were Obafemi Martins, Bassong and then Duff and Beye on the cheap plus a few expired contracts and loans.

I think we'd sell more than Newcastle did - our squad is larger and we have more players on big wages - but I've seen people envisaging a first 11 with Lankshear, Donley, Yang...come the fuck on. We're not gonna go from a PL squad to a lower-mid table Champ squad overnight and sell all our players.

I think its you that will be in for a shock. What good is keeping a player who doesn't want to be here. When have you seen that workout? Revenue will drop by 250-300m a season. Even if some of these players have a 50% wage drop that is still too much for the Championship. The likes of Gray and Bergvall will not be wasting a season of their short careers in the Championship.

whos better? maddison, we dont know how hes gonna be.

lets be honest, he aint up against much competition, the squad is packed with shit which is why we are here.
Depends on what we’re saying by footballer. Most technical is Maddison or Simons.

In terms of being able to do everything on a football pitch, including the defensive work and out of possession stuff, I think Archie has a strong claim.
