I read a BBC article this morning saying the owners aren’t planning to intervene managerial wise, its up to the Chuckle brothers.

I’m raging this morning, raging. This club is in a shocking state, hope they enjoy their massively devalued asset and the financial bailout that will be needed

I think it will. And I think we’d have many prospective buyers in the championship. They’ll be lining up to get a cut price deal on both the club and stadium.

Zero chance they sell if we go down. They aren’t going to accept a billion quid drop in value. We need to stay up for a variety of reasons and the most important one being is that it makes us more attractive for prospective purchasers.

I’d be fine with relegation if it meant they sold

But will they actually sell if we go down?

They can’t get a buyer at the price they want when we’re in the CL
I’m just hoping that someone like Staveley’s consortium come in with an appropriate offer looking to play the long game, irrespective of which league we’re in.

Imagine if they bought us and invested heavily in decent players and cleared out the bad apples. We’d be more or less guaranteed to bounce straight back up with players that much better than those teams around us.

Well it seems we'll be finding out soon enough.
But they haven’t shown any inclination to sell in the Prem, either... so if you're right, they're here for ever

I'm worried that with the current geopolitical climate that ship has sailed

They underestimated sacking Levy
Yep I think that’s clear as day, especially with the deflection tactics Vinai is employing to save his own skin.

There are three decisive moments they’ve massively fucked up - they should have sacked Frank far sooner, they didn’t invest in January when it was clear reinforcements were needed and they employed an interim manager with zero relegation or Prem experience.

That’s solely on these fuckers currently in charge and can’t be laid at the door of their predecessor.

Been a smudge on a painting effect (think Mr Bean the movie) ever since 2016 summer onwards. Could have spent on the squad to support the starting XI winning the league but didn't. Tried bargin buckets again and again to address every problem and then when they did spend big, they spent it sooo poorly like 2019.

Agree with some, sacking Levy when they did was shocking. Yes, I hate what the man has done to the club, but let him be waved off at the end of the season, then start from there. Not hire a CEO, tell him he'll be under the wing of Levy and then sack Levy several months into the CEO's new role only find out Levy spread himself thinner than any human possibly could have. It was evident to even outsiders of Spurs that Levy had the final say on tranfers and everything for that matter, yet this lot were suprised by what they found by when they booted the board out. Staggering.

They were wrong to let Vinai and Levy appoint Frank in the first place if they knew they were removing Levy.

They were wrong to let Levy appoint Vinai, unless he was always their plan to cuckoo him.

Most of all, they were wrong to think they didn’t need to go at the same time as Levy.

But all of that needs to wait until the summer.

They tried to make him the fall guy

Looks like a dumb move. Those protests were for them as much as, if not more than, Levy.
I agree. They knew he was the face of the club and eliminating him would quell the protests. And it worked a treat.
But as far as we're concerned, the fans, the visible turd has been flushed down the toilet but the rancid stink that accompanied it lingers stronger than ever.

The Staveley money was a consortium from Qatar + Levy.

I wonder if the Qatar investment is still an option now...

I think that was probably always on the cards, especially with what that viper has come out with since.

Vinai seems a slimy toad and not adverse to backstabbing to further his own cause.

Sadly, Simon Jordan was right when he said us fans were up a gum tree if we thought thigs were going to change with Levy gone.

Mate, I absolutely guarantee you we would be in the exact same position if that cunt was still here.

99% of the people at the club this season that are culpable for where we are, were employed by Daniel Levy. Vinai, Lange, Frank, the vast majority of the players, all brought in under Levy’s watch.

This isn’t something that just happened this season, this has been coming for a long, long time, and Daniel Levy is just as responsible as anyone for it.

The fact he was removed gives him immunity from a lot of the criticism which is absolutely sickening. The last thing we should be doing is peddling a narrative of “oh this would never happen under Daniel’s watch.”
