Incredible. Incompetence at the very best this corrupted pair.
It’s also the balance issue. We have some good players in certain positions but we have holes and injures. According the media we got offered Lookman and turned him down becuase we thought we could do better in the summer. Lookman is a left wing goalscorer, a player we don’t have and a position we badly need. Lange thought he could bin the season and wait till summer.
We are not on paper a team that should not get relegated and yet we have no proper left winger (Tel and Odobert aren’t proven and aren’t even left wingers, one is more striker and the other looks better on the right). Weaker teams do better due to better coaching and better player balance. A left winger and a passing CM would have fixed a huge part of the team and we thought no it’s fine.
Just think about this Lookman and Hackney in the Jan window and Frank sacked earlier. We would be in a different situation. Even smaller teams try and make sure they have balanced squads.

Like, it's so easy. Fire a couple of characterless suits, there's no drawback! There's no point keeping them around because they need someone to run the football side of things, because these two are so incompetent they're actively damaging to the footballing operation.

Lange is doing exactly what his employers expect him to do. Low wages. Low fees and sell on value. He is doing a good job for ENIC. He is doing nothing for us as customers / fans

In terms of player scouting, Freedman and Lange have similar "styles". Both specialise in younger talent that can grow into great players. Freedman however seems better at the squad building part and understanding the balancing act of putting a team together and not just collecting talented gems.
