Anyone else got mixed emotions?

Obviously, I always want Spurs to win games and not get relegated .

But

No VAR, No Neville and Carragher, no Michael Oliver, No Woolwich, no Chelsea, no Sky Sports, No Jared Gillett, no BBC bullshit coverage, no match of the day, no Ref watch with Dermot the gremlin…

Yes to academy kids in your team, yes to cheaper tickets, yes to old English football stadiums and teams with fans that sing.
If the worse happens, it's only natural to start listing positives. For no other reason than our own sanity. Agree with all of the above especially no VAR, no 12 points given to Woolwich and Chelsea and the fact it could bring in a complete much needed reset.

But above all id like to think we'd be in and around the promotion places at the first attempt. So to that end, actually winning a lot more football matches than we lose would make a pleasant change. I wouldn't give 2 fucks if we were only beating Blackburn, Swansea and Stoke, just winning games would be enjoyable full stop.

I think it's called coping.
I really don't wanna get relegated.

Like I said, I don’t want to get relegated. I want us to stay up and play good football in the premier league again, maybe even enjoy it again.

I’m just looking at the reality of it and other than a short spell of games in Ange season 1, I can’t really say I’ve enjoyed being a fan of Spurs in the premier league much recently. I’ll always enjoy being a Spurs fan but the stuff that’s specific to the premier league isn’t exactly rewarding most of the time.

Let’s hope it is in the future but if we went down after a season like this, I’m not sure I’ll be pining to get back or tracking every result to see what happens.

Right!

Now mix in that we’re winning games with Mikey Moore, Callum Olusesi, Alfie Devine in the team. Byfield and LWB making meaningful contributions… fans singing one of our own.

I could get into that in a big way

I miss the days of Kane and Son

Every single word rings so very , very painfully true. .

* With every , every respect to Miss Gladys Knight , who did an even more definitive version , but this one is just a bit more mournful . So it seemed a bit more appropriate.

Edit: F-ck it ; let’s get a bit of Gladys

It would be nice to start winning again and clear out the most unlikable group of players in club history. But unless Lange, the gooner bastard, and ENIC all follow them out the door, I don't see much changing.

Worst case scenario is we go down and only one of Lange/Vinai go with ENIC remaining. I have no faith in them making the right decisions and appointments. They'll panic and not have any clue what to do, who to buy, or which manager to hire. We could be stuck down in the Championship for a very long time, especially if we fail to get promoted in the first two seasons and really start facing a financial crunch.

sudoku davlathom davlathom

After all that, I guess the overriding feeling is that I want to stay up for these fans that are already planning to go again for the Brighton game.

Best fucking fans in the league.

By doing this coach meet thing, I hope they're not inadvertently adding to the pressure that the players are already feeling.

You're in a football team on the way to the stadium, where you hope to do something about avoiding relegation, and you see thousands of supporters lining the streets on the high road and you know they're only there because the team have been shit.

Can't say I am really
This club should never be relegated from the top flight.
Be the biggest disgrace in the history of the premier League.
We should be in Europe next season playing against elite clubs, not derby county , Birmingham city and QPR

Its a fucking nightmare that's putting me right off football in totality tbh

The more times they do it, the more used to it the team gets IMO

Eventually they’ll win under the pressure

Would it not be a good idea to bring Redknapp back until the end of the season. Sam Allardyce is another option. These are highly experienced low risk guys who know the league and how to win games. Going for the modern Guardiola wannabe options is not going to work for a club in this position.
