Marseille as a city is guilty too. So is France for them being there. And so is Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany for sharing a border with France.

I do think that THST has been increasingly irrelevant in recent years. It used to be run by good people who cared deeply about the club . Not anymore….. the lunatics have quite clearly taken over the asylum.Hopefully yesterdays statement, which imo was ill judged and entirely unwarranted , will prove to be their final act. COYS.

We can only hope so. They can have an opinion by all means but they speak for less than 1% of our fanbase and I reckon that is being generous.
 
The trust manage to speak on behalf of the fanbase every time but fail to actually engage with the fanbase or it's members first, work that one out.

I dont care that their opinions differ from mine

I do care that they dont actually represent the fans, but are treated as though they do

I do care that they make statements that dont actually represent their members, however many/few there are*

I really care that I dont think they actually care about the club, or the issue, but their own standing above all

And I think they are just trying to worm their way onto the board

Best case they are a misguided but well meaning bunch, useful idiots - worst they are an amateur politic trying to gain power at our club.






*Posted a while back. Their fan survey, the tool they try and beat the club over the head with and make grand demands over at their meetings - open to ALL to complete to back up their agenda. In Feb - 4,000 responses. Thats it. 4,000. 7% of a matchday crowd, and what are the odds most of those responses came online from people who dont attend frequently? This is the "power base" they have, and its nothing - and yet look how they behave

Also, a lot of non Spurs fans fill out the Survey. Just look at the one they ran for the greatest Spurs player of all time. Invested with Woolwich rats. Like I said, represent less than 1% of the fanbase and that is generous.

Which means they failed at being a "trust" out of the box.

Pretty sure they started with good intentions, but from my knowledge and representations they've been a little bit of a dictatorship posing as communist, with the people in charge really only having an interest at being involved with the club, instead of being a voice for the fan base

Yeah, I think his comments on Greenwood are mis-judged, but I'm also generally supportive of freedom of speech, and I don't think it's enough to want to blackball the guy from managing us, or anyone else.

I would not want us to sign Greenwood, which would be a totally different order of ethical consideration.
 
The trust are absolute cretin cunts as well tbf. The fact that they felt it necessary to come out with that statement when it's clear we don't need any more headline stories and need unity in order to get out of this mess shows what pricks they are.

We too are guilty.
We know Marseille exists and we did nothing.
 
It's the classic arguement. "Everyone thinks this"... When in reality it's only a few but they want to give themselves gravitas. It's like a small child that's throwing there toys out the pram because they don't know what they want. But they definitely don't want this!!!!
 
Need to focus on, or perhaps be completely restricted to, supporter issues where they could challenge the club. E.g. transparency on away allocations going to corporates, price categorization of matches, rescheduling of kick off times etc.

As soon as they start on 'football' related matters it just becomes an opinion which is no more valid than the opinion of anyone else. You can look at this forum, our fanbase generally, or society as a whole to see that. Like lots here I thought that statement was unnecessary.
