I too wish this team was better and could turn its nose up at that sort of player.
I know you’re on my side regarding my thoughts on Romero.
In this case, I genuinely don't rate Kudus at all. He looks like a much better player than he is because of his ability, but decision making and output wise, is dreadful. Completes 23% of crosses, and it's always because he takes so much time on the ball, and defences reset to easily dealt with it, then whoever was up front would get pelters for not getting on the ball, because he won't release it when he should or they have to try and beat 5 defense players in aeriel duels.I know you’re on my side regarding my thoughts on Romero.
This is the same situation. Kudus can be a limited and incredibly frustrating player while also being significantly better than the rest of the steaming piles we have in our squad.
Getting both back is crucial to our survival, in my opinion.
Maybe a disservice to Bolasie, but Kudus did have a standout year, and then like Bolaise it evened out. More like a Traore. Head down, skin anyone, fuck it up.
Agree to disagree I suppose. He ain’t a top 4 level winger but he is far and away our greatest attacking talent. He is the only forward I have any faith in his technical ability. His first touch is so much better than anyone else up front, he is able to protect the ball, he dribbles players with ease.In this case, I genuinely don't rate Kudus at all. Genuinely think we'd be more effective with wing backs than the ball getting sucked into him for it go nowhere.
Yeah I really don't think it's a coincidence we haven't won a game in the league since his injury. His hold-up play and dribbling alone take so much pressure off the rest of the team.Agree to disagree I suppose. He ain’t a top 4 level winger but he is far and away our greatest attacking talent. I see the frustrating aspects of his game too. But we’ve - quite literally - won infinite more games with him than we have without him.

Yeah I remember thinking to myself around Dec/Jan when we were creeping downwards "we'll probably just about be OK provided Kudus stays fit".

And because he was our only attacking threat, he was always mobbed by two to three players.Kudus had 5 assists when he went out 3 months ago.
How many of our squad have more?
He was frustrating, but many games he was our only attacking threat.
I think people get too tied up in his shortcomings and forget about the unique benefits he adds to the team.Despite missing 3 months, he is still tied for 7th in the EPL for assists.
Yep, terrible player that won’t make any difference for us. Smdh.
Get him in a real system and watch him cook.
And asTimberwolf pointed out, we having won a single PL game since his injury.
