Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I don't get where you all find the energy to speculate about summer transfers. Not much use until we know in what series we will play.

Here’s my probably ridiculously unrealistic Summer window wish list.

We’ve gotta go all in for James Trafford, especially with De Zerbi now the gaffa. Probably has to be number 1 target. I can’t do another season with Vicario.

Adam Wharton. Simply my favourite player to watch at the moment. Exactly what we need in midfield.

Iliman Ndiaye - the right footed left winger we’re crying out for. Was gutted when he went to Everton, can’t miss him again.

Then I’d love to see Joao Gomes alongside Wharton, think that would be such a perfect midfield - but lots of people seem to think Locatelli would be on De Zerbis list. Either or.

Then I’d love a new RB - I can’t stand Porro. But no idea what that markets like.

Just depends doesn’t it. I’ve no doubt that ENIC have promised Conte and Mourinho the earth too. The difference this time though, is if they fail to get 5/6 proper top players this summer (if we stay up) then it’ll be a third season in the lower bottom half, looking nervously over our shoulders.
If the club don't back this guy in the transfer window he will leave before the season begins.

He's not thankful for the opportunity like Ange or Frank. Really is up to the owners now to pump some big money in and support the manager.

Window if in Prem:

Ramos
Trafford
Nusa
Bouaddi
Diouf

Too young imo. We need experience throughout the team. If it was up to me, and we’re serious about spending money (which I seriously doubt) I’d go:

Pickford/Verbruggen/Kelleher/Atubolu
Antonee Robinson/Nathaniel Brown
Locatelli
Ederson
Yan Diomande/Ndiaye
Summerville
Marmoush

And a number 10 depending on how Maddison is when he returns. Possibly Gibbs-White?

Bin off:

Vicario
Dragusin
Palhinha
Bissouma
Bentancur
Kolo Muani

He can go and get another great salary somewhere else. No point torpedoing your career and being publicly cuckolded by these owners and their idiotic exec board

Lols who else is gonna pay him £12m per year over 5 years?

Never in a million years is he seeing that sort of money unless it's an elite job which he wouldn't get at this moment in time...or Saudi.

Yeah, I think De Zerbi is one of the few managers that seems genuinely willing to walk away from money. He left both Brighton and Marseille by mutual consent and offered to leave the latter previously in the season too.

Spurs is his biggest salary by a distance - around 2-3 times what he was on at Marseille - so he will be heavily incentivised to stick around next season at least even if we go down. But I think longer term if he's being dicked around by the club it won't take too much for him to just up and go if they start with the usual Levy-style games and going back on their word.

If we're in the premier league next season we will benefit from having a smaller squad as we will have no midweek football. We could offload 9 or 10 players and only bring in 3 or 4 really high quality replacements. Also keen to see what RDZ makes of youngsters Devine, Hall, Lankshear, Vuskovic, Moore, Olusesi, Byfield etc. in pre-season. For example, I'd rather have Byfield as a backup CB than Dragusin.

My dream summer signing would be Locatelli who played for RDZ for 3-years at Sassuolo (2018 - 2021) before joining Juve at the same time RDZ moved to Shaktar Donetsk.

Probably not but I said great salary. He can still likely pull in 5m or so easily and if he goes to an ambitious club and wins things, then he’s back up at the top tier.

There’s a balance between maximising an already amazing salary and writing off your career and future earning
