The meltdown here and social media as a whole would be glorious!!

Star Wars Hate GIF

He was reportedly quite pally with the Qatari lot that own PSG - could get interesting if he gets in their ear about a takeover bid

"Buried deep in the small print of the annual accounts — in language so technical that most folks in the Spurs community ever noticed — ENIC awarded themselves a warrant. A legal right to a growing slice of the club’s value. Silent. Hidden. Compounding. Here’s how it works:
💰 Starts at 5% of the club’s total value
📈 Grows by 1.5% every single year for a decade
🔒 Pays out only when the club is sold
Every year ENIC holds on, the payout gets bigger. They designed it that way"

A spurs channel had an accountant on to run through the recently released accounts and when asked she didn't think it was all that significant and would affect decimals of percent. Which given ENIC own nearly 90% of the shares makes the practice quite minimal in affect on smaller shareholders.

They aren't the ones playing though, are they.

They are cunts, of course, and massively incompetent, but the players are better than this. They should shoulder most of the blame for the performances.

If a club finishes 17th and then next season is hoping to finish 17th again then the blame for that lies more on owners than players imo.
No doubt the players should shoulder their portion of blame but it's the people who hire the coaches, decide the clubs strategy (try not to laugh at that) and sign the cheques for the players who are most responsible for where we are.

We've spent a small fortune on transfers in recent seasons. They aren't the one's kicking the ball.
And even allowing for poor purchasing no win in a hundred days falls on the players and Frank/Tudor.

There's a malaise that the owners are responsible for but not at relegation levels.
It's all of them, Art. ENIC, managers, coaching staff, players, Kenny the copy guy ... they've all been crap.
