We are finished. This Sunderland side we just lost to hadn't won at home for four games and frankly did not look an impressive side at all. If we can't get anything from them then I can't see us taking points from anyone. We have a set of players with a real shockingly poor set of technical skill, a severe lack of footballing IQ and attitudes which are questionable at best.

The squad building of this team has now come back to absolutely finish us off, because we have nobody to turn to now. The manager doesn't matter, we have no players to lead this team, nobody we can ask to win us a match, nobody to drive us forward.

Spurs will get relegated because as a team they are comfortably the worst team in the league and have been for quite some time. It's a sad reality that these players are not very good. Our 'established professionals' such as Romero, Porro, Palhinha, Udogie, Solanke, Muani are all to blame for simply not being good enough. There are plenty of others who have not done enough as well. The kids I can't blame because they shouldn't be relied on to carry a team as big as Spurs but that's what happens when Johan Lange is allowed to fuck our team up.

Yeah think we can close the thread now.

2nd attempt at New manager bounce was our last shot and we blew it. Simply could not lose that game.

Chelsea and Villa obvious defeats. Palace and Brighton will edge it.
Maybe we beat Leeds and Wolves but 36 points won't be enough.

Think we’re down. Can’t see us getting anything v Brighton or more than the odd point in our other remaining games. Just hope de zerbi is up for a spell in the championship as he didn’t look very energised on the touch line today. Not sure if he’s normally like that but he seemed pretty resigned to it all.

Anyone still foolish enough to believe it ain't happening?
Needed to see what happened today.

But the players have such a deep-rooted losing mentality.

Such fragility (allowed to be set in all last season), that it's nigh impossible to survive this.

Today had to show a spark with RDZ coming in.

But they're still flat.

He'll have to work an absolute miracle to extract survival out of this lot.

Very hard to imagine after that game.

Yeah we're done. I had accepted it back in January, but RDZ gave me a little bit of hope. All that's gone today. I've been thinking that as soon as we dropped to 18th, we weren't going to have the fight to get out.

Sunderland were so bad that it took them a fluke deflection to score. We didn't look like scoring at all after we went down. We aren't winning another match this season, and we'll be lucky to get a draw against Leeds and Wolves.

Yeah, I just don’t see how we get out of this now.

We changed the manager and yet it looks exactly the same. DZ is going to have to be brave and drop a load of them and bring some kids in. I honestly can’t see it changing with this lot of players they just don’t have it.
Williams-Barnett should have been brought into the fold when Tudor came in and have a few gams under his belt.

He really should hvae been brought in when our injuries took hold much earlier;.

Difficult to comprehend we didnt replace Son. They honestly thought Tel and Odobert would cover that.

Then after failing to buy Gibbs White when Maddison was fit we subsequently only bought Simons after Maddison was done for the season.

Just incompetence at the highest level.

I’ve fully accepted it and in ways I’m looking forward to it. I suspect we’re all just tired. Tired of the awful performances. Tired of the banter from opposing fans. Tired of hating our players. Tired of the lies from management. Tired of the refereeing and the atmospheres. Most importantly, tired of the anxiety. Just let it go and accept relegation. It’s freeing.

Focus all your negative feelings on ENIC, on Vinai and Lange, on our overpaid cunt players. I think the club’s leadership needs the humiliation and I think tearing it all down is going to be the first step to that painful rebuild Poch warned us about a decade ago.

He probably couldn’t believe how shit the players are. We all knew, but he obviously didn’t.

If I were him, I would be dropping a lot of them and bringing some of the younger kids from the under 21s in. There needs to be a shake up because this lot aren’t gonna get us out of it. Manage after manager and they are exactly the same every game.
