Was young enough the last time we went down but I don't think we were as bad and least expected to come straight back up,different times of course but I wouldn't be quite as confident this about coming straight up assuming we go down of course .

I do.

Our players are a higher quality than Forest, Spam, and Leeds. RDZ is a better manager than they have. At minimum, if we match Leeds' pace and beat them in a few weeks, they'll be below us.

de zerbi won’t be our manager next season in the championship , he’ll kick off in the summer , fall out with the board and be on his way
I think even he will realise kicking off and walking out after the very public declaration of his stay, irrespective of league, will torch his future managerial options.

He’s a bright bloke and will surely realise there’s a fair chance he can’t keep us up without major squad surgery.

The more I look at Brobbey's push on Romero, with clear intent to do nothing other than injure opponents (having already tried to 'do' Romero early on - absolute cunt - up there with Charlie Adams as far as I'm concerned), with the ref watching, then not giving him his deserved 4th yellow, sorry 3rd yellow, sorry 2nd yellow, the more I think that it doesn't actually make any difference what we do or how we play, and I think the players know that. Yes we've been shockingly awful this season, but it doesn't make a difference, if we were better then we'd just get more yellow and reds against, more dodgy decisions etc. I know we all hate the players right now, but I can understand their heads going down in that second half, we're up against it, always starting against 12 men, one with power and a whistle, every single fucking week. When was the last time a ref made dodgy calls that resulted in us winning a game? I'm not saying we'd be up there challenging, I'm not even saying we'd be top half, but we certainly wouldn't be in 18th position if we were refereed objectively, and anyone refuting that now despite the overwhelming week-on-week evidence of it is just hiding from reality.

There isn't a single shred of evidence that says we win enough points to stay up. That Muani played for as long as he did, and that Xavi stayed on the bench whilst Palhinha and Sarr came on only illustrates how bereft we are.

Muani, Richarlison and Solanke as a front three makes me look back at Andy Booth's brief stint on loan with with fondness.

I have read, and heard, people saying we were okay today, we weren't. Not at all. It was woeful.

For the first time, in 45 years, it dawned on me that I don't like (a player or two aside) any of this squad.

I have my ticket for next weekends game vs. Brighton, hoping to help with some vocal support from the "Shelf/Park Lane" area, the players badly need a bit of luck but sometimes you have to mask your own as a player.
