You can take your 22 losses, mate. I don't mind 24 losses and 13 wins + 1 draw to stay in the league. Anything to stay in the league, 24 losses, so be it, any time.

Really unbelievable the 22 losses made some of you lost all senses.
Well you're not going to get that this year, we're going down. The rot started during his tenure, that is undeniable. We finished 17th.

He made losing acceptable and look where we are. It really is as simple as that. We've lost one whole seasons worth of matches in less than 2, he was in charge for over 50% of that. He accepted the rot setting in.

This year the pattern continued, but there's no trophy to make things feel better. Just loss after loss after loss this time.

Oh look, Phomesy has used the same quote again .. yawn yawn fucking yawn.

No matter how much you gag on it, most people still don’t think sacking Ange was a mistake. Get over it. The mistakes came after. Including hiring Frank, which I was 100% wrong about.

Again, unlike you I don’t have a crush on shit football managers, so I can say that nice and comfortably and not have an issue with it.

Maybe you can make t-shirts with "Tottenham got relegated but I owned the AngeBois in a poll on TFC" on it or something.

Just so you can really feel like you achieved something great?

Sorry, we are worse this season. We are not winning past 10 games, unlike last season. We still won games last season despite the 22 losses and the supposedly laughable rot the team accepted. Funny isn't it.

Loss after loss after loss, we still won't break the 22 losses record we got last seasons. Hey ho, some of you must be glad.

I would take last season patterns over this season, any time, ever. 22 losses? Pfft.

In truth ENIC should have slapped down a new contract on the table for him and gave him a blank cheque, the decision to get rid gets more costly by the day.

I couldn’t give a shit about winning the poll, I just find the results hilarious when you’re going round calling anyone who wanted him out a deranger. That apparently is most fucking people.

You’re the one who can’t get over all this bro. Close the poll, shut the thread and move on. Most people still don’t rate the geezer. Give it up. But you can’t. And you won’t.

Yes and three managers in four months and we still haven't won a league game in all that time.

But obviously sacking the manager whose second last game in charge was us winning our first European Trophy in 40 years was "the right thing to do".

Congrats. We're down. Deuterz has a shirt for you. Enjoy the relegation party. I guess... 🤷‍♂️

Lol no.

This thread is for Spurs fans who like winning things and staying in the Premier LEague. And remembering a former manager who did both those things.

If you don't like it - find another thread. 🤷‍♂️:D

Lol “staying in the premier league” was a foregone fucking conclusion before this loser came along and lost 22 games and put us in that part of the table. We’ve never fully recovered. And if he had been facing down the competition for relegation this season we’d be going straight fucking down with this squad too.

Rot started with Ange. We were a top 6 team who aimed for top 4 before Ange.

What's the record for the most losses in a season without being relegated? Step up big Ange. Another trophy.

Sunday was our 38th loss in 70 league games. The league is the bread and butter, he presided over 22 of those in one season, a record for a team not relegated. His performance was unacceptable. He had to go.

Pretty sure in August last year you were certain everything was fixed. Read a quote somewhere...

Turns out you were wrong. And you can't deal with it.

Also we finished 8th in 2022/23 with 14 losses with prime Kane and Son - it was Postecoglou who overachieved and somehow got us into 5th. Got us Europe and then won it.

Then you get what you wanted and now we're down. Bought your t-shirt yet?

We beat AZ, Frankfurt, Bodo Glimt, man utd.

We lost against Ipswich, Leicester, palace twice, Bournemouth, Forest twice, wolves, Newcastle, Everton, Woolwich, brighton, Chelsea, Liverpool, with some of the worst performances I've seen from this club. It doesn't cancel out the Europa win for me. I'm sorry.

“Somehow got us into fifth” lmao he spent big money on Maddison, Van de Ven etc and still had Son carrying the attack with one match a week. For a club who had consistently been up that part of the table. Fourth the season before that.

Absolute joke how much you play us down just to big up this utter chump. We finished 8th because conte threw a tantrum and we hired his assistant and then Ryan fucking Mason. In a season with CL.

1 win in 19 league games. He wouldn’t fix shit.

Every Deranger has the same origin story. It begins in June 25 with posts like this about Frank:

And ends in February this year as relegation looms with them circling all the way back to their Deranger crutch position

I detest that narrative of the players running through walls for postecoglu. We lost 22 league games last season. Fuck off.

Get the feeling a lot of that is about Romero. Just fuck him off.

Personally I'd blame the injuries and the poor squad. In fact I DID blame those things when I warned you guys that sacking Postecoglou was not going to make much of a difference and could, potentially, make things worse.

But if you don't like the guy - just don't click on this thread. It really is that easy. 🤷‍♂️

He overachieved and people like you thought we should be doing much better.

Others, like me, warned our squad was dangerously thin on quality and exposed to another injury crisis.

I can't help being right. I'd much prefer it you'd been right.

But you're weren't. And here we are 🤷‍♂️

Yes unprecedented injury crises will do that to a team. As we saw again this year.

Look we all thought he should be sacked. In hindsight that proved to be a catastrophic mistake. We are going down.

Some of us have accepted our mistake and now just want to remember fondly a bloke who won us a major trophy. If you don't want to do that, fine. Just don't click on this thread.

He had to go , he should have gone long before he did, but yet if he’d stayed we couldn’t possibly be any worse than we have been and in any worse position, fuck me that’s how bad we’ve become, even the right decision was the wrong decision in some mad roundabout way, fuck me this football club.

I was majorly wrong about Frank. It doesn't mean postecoglu was any better either.

Players running through walls for a guy they lost 22 games under last year. Would love to be rewarded as handsomely for that type of underperfomance in my job.

Tbh I only clicked on this because I replied to the one that was merged lol.

It's XMAS 2039. Spurs are playing Plymouth Argyle to stay out of the relegation places in League 1.

Deuterz Deuterz is enjoying a Baileys while his Grandson watches the football.

Grandson Deuterz asks: "What did YOU do the year Tottenham went down, Grandpa Deuterz Deuterz "

Detuerz takes a large sip of sherry Baileys. Wipes his gently leaking bulbous red shapely well defined nose. Smiles fondly and says:

"I owned the Angebois on TFC, son. I owned them good. You should have seen the poll".

:D
