It's the same shit when the transfer windows were clearly going catastrophically wrong and they'd say you're "melting" for pointing out that there are genuinely massive, technical holes in our squad that should be sounding alarm bells.
Yep. I got serious shit for pointing out that results didn't reflect performances in the early Frank days, and that it'd balance itself out. You can still be objective and support a team.

We are getting relegated because we are shit. Not because of referees. Every club complains about referees because they are all terrible.

If we had a team that could play a bit of football then we wouldn’t need to talk about referees.
No and you are bang out of order posting that here. This sort of defeatist crap is what has fed into the players and the entire club. Everyone just giving up and accepting we are shit.

One result can swing the momentum. We lose nearly every game by a single goal and there's always some stupid decisions gone against us. We just need to catch a break right now and we do that by fighting for every inch. If booing the living daylights out of the referee for the next 3 home games means we have a slightly better chance of winning a penalty before the end of the season, then we fucking boo every time.

We are in the trenches. We need a break. One lucky break can swing everything. We haven't had any luck in months. Don't give up. Never give up. Fight man. Fight.

An arrogant, complacent - not to mention utterly incompetent - board, and a terrible collection of players, at least currently fit ones, is a bad enough mix. Throw in what must be the worst medical team in top-flight history, and ditto for the scouts, and here we are.

Solanke is our record signing. Solanke. Think about that. I look at this team and I compare them to the one we had in the early/mid-80s and I want to weep. I remember at least one game under Hoddle when we had Doherty and Freund up front. I didn't think we could sink any lower than that. But here we are.

Kulu still out, Madders only capable of making Diet Coke ads (at least get some bloody taste buds, mate).

106 days since we won a league game. 106.

Despair doesn't begin to cover it. It's not even trying to

A red card for Brighton or a penalty for us this weekend and we'd have a good chance of winning. We need to influence the referees. They owe us one.

Stop giving up..stop this defeatist shit. We need to boo the living daylights out of the referee this weekend. Every time a decision goes against us it needs to be met with a loud chorus of boos.

We need fans willing to invade the pitch and attack the ref if he gives a big decision against us. Enough is enough. This is our club. If the players aren't going to fight for the club then we have to.

For me this is life or death now. Its gone too far. I can't sit back and let this happen. Especially when I see referees screwing us and the media loving us being down there. I can't stand for this. I won't stand for this.

In a relegation battle you need to put pressure on other teams around you. We're not doing that. Was only 1st game for de zerbi but he has to tell players to get the first win and put pressure on other teams around us so they crumble. Trying to understand the logic why we haven't won a single league game this year. Fallen off the cliff. The players have it in them. They need to fight (not literally). Our remaining home games were must put pressure on refs for decisions our favour. Any advantage is handy.

I was so wrong. I really thought, a couple of months ago, there was no way we would be even in a relegation battle. Now, I just don't see a path to avoiding the drop.

This is a much worse feeling than back in '77. Then, it was hard to take but I always felt we would bounce back. This time, should we go down, I have no such hope. As a club we are shambolic, and, although the poch era papered over the cracks, have been for years.

Profoundly depressing.
In 77 we were winning games dotted around. There might have been 3-4 games lost in a row but nothing as bad as what this is now.

We are taking the pressure off the other teams around the relegation zone by losing every time we play, giving them confidence.

We're not going to take confidence from seeing West Ham, Forest or Leeds lose. If we weren't so terrible I don't think those other sides would be sticking in big away wins or turning over teams 4-0.

So much this.

I'm about as optimistic as it gets as a supporter but when I saw us standing off West Ham and practically begging for them to get the lucky deflected goal they got and see them suddenly believe they can football again I knew then we were in deep shit.

Confidence, injuries, refereeing, deflected goals - when the momentum is against anyone as much as it has been against us since that game it's incredibly difficult to turn it around. Especially when the other relegation sides often have more dangerous and match-winning players than we do.

If Leeds win their next match against Wolves, they'll be on 39 points and safe from relegation.

Hopefully, they'll then just field their U21 team when we play them.

They won't get away with this. Whatever referee is doing our Brighton game this weekend will feel if. I'm texting around. I'll get something sorted. This isn't on

Before you go around murdering referees like the zodiac killer I’d delete all of your internet history and delete your account on here!

I’d say good luck with your pitch invasion but I think you probably need to avoid all football until 2030.

The funny thing is, somebody sat at a table and said

Hey, let’s replace Son with Odobert and Kane with Solanke.

And thought it would be a success.

And when Kudus got injured….ok, let’s sell our top goal scorer and ask and out of form, low confidence RKM to play out of position on the wing.

When you don't win a Prem game for over 3 months you just lose all confidence that a victory will happen. The players are trying - they're just super low on confidence and as soon as we concede their heads go. There isn't a manager who exists who can change that in 7 games.

But Don Pedro is right, we just need a massive break, a sending off, a flukey goal, a pen, something, anything, that gets us a result. A win can change things but we need it this weekend. Lose or draw and we are done for sure.
