I get you mate. I just want no stone left unturned. We're hanging on a cliff edge right now! Every inch matters and any small thing could swing the momentum back in our direction. This season has been beyond unacceptable and an absolute joke across the board but we can save the biopsy until after the season is done. These next 6 games will define the future of this club for the rest of our lifetime.
Teams try to go back to front as fast as possible though.I watch more championship football than the prem although less so in the last year or two but the perception of it is way out of date. Its not the 70s where they're playing on mud heaps and hairy arsed centre backs called Clogger Tomkins are booting everyone with a modicum of skill up in the air. The best footballing sides mostly come up, Burnley under Kompany, Forest under Cooper and Leeds with Farke were all really skillful footballing sides. Honestly think the prem is much more physical these days.
You've been talking to my wife, haven't you...Absolutely ” Every inch matters ” should become our battle-cry .
Lets keep it up for the rest of the season.
Conversely though, any team who can pass the ball half decent and wear out the opposition usually walk the league like Silva’s Fulham or Maresca’s Leicester.Teams try to go back to front as fast as possible though.
I can't remember seeing a Championship game where it's the "horseshoe football" teams often play in the Premier League ... ball going right to left, left to right, right to left outside the opposition box without ever making much of a threat.

For what its worth, Newcastle kept around 60% of their squad when they got relegated under Benitez.
Managed to Sign 5 or 6 players from prem teams...this was the Newcastle before the resources they have now.
Yeah don't get me wrong both leagues are stronger but my point was mainly that I don't see the whole squad being completely gutted like some are suggesting. Also before what the Championship and EPL are now .
I’m not saying you’re wrong; but every league’s got tougher since then .
Just look at our current position if you Nerv proof.

A fair few will go but there will still be a core that will remain if we were to go down.
Yeah, still a lot of points to be won thats for sure.I think you’re right .
But hopefully we’re just talking hypothetically.
Vicario, Romero, VDV, Udogie, Xavi, Kudas and Solanke will be sold. That’s £250m + wages saved.
Bissouma, Davies (maybe) leave on a free. Thats what 100k a week saved ?
Paulina and Muani go back to their parent club. That’s got to be £200k a week saved.
I think they keep everyone else, unless there is value in selling.
ENIC won’t suffer.
Our resources are so much bigger than any other club in the Championship that we shouldn't have a problem as long as the people making the decisions are reasonably competent. Which means all the herberts in place now have to go.Vicario, Romero, VDV, Udogie, Xavi, Kudas and Solanke will be sold. That’s £250m + wages saved.

carnageThere's never been a case like this. Both Leeds and Villa we're fucked financially when they went down, Newcastle weren't rich by any means. There's been no club relegated with the majority of the first team, even with relegation clauses, making £78-80k pw.
It's hard to know what's going to happen.
