Do we have the players to do it..

Yes..

Do we have the right manager to instil confidence..

Yes..

Do we have the mentality to push on, go in front and not choke..

Not sure, but the performance in the first 80 mins of the last game gives me hope that we can learn from it.

With all that said, and agreed with, tonights result has instilled a slither of hope that there is a chance we can claw ourselves out of this. It's going to be extremely fine margins if we do. God help us!

Assuming City win their game in hand and the next two and Assna lose the next two, by the time they play Spam they’d be 6 points behind with 3 to go. Not likely that they’d win it, but they'd probably still want to go all the way until it's mathematically over.

Nah the title race is going to the last day, no chance the title is wrapped up before game week 37. Remember city are still 3 points behind

Dean Ashton and carragher both had us going down in their predictions.

But the bias by Ashton towards west ham was unreal. Thinks they’ll draw at home to Woolwich lol.

But I did find it weird that they were so generous to Forest who I think could easily get dragged back into it.

It’s a shame we have Chelsea away game week 37.

But for some reason under De Zerbi I just think we can do it

I was wavering yesterday; but you’re quite right ; it should be more than possible for us to pull this off .

It’s not irrational to say do in fact .

He also said we didn't stand a chance against United in the final

Forest can definitely get dragged back into it.

And spam could go not winning another game after their display tonight.

Spitty and Ashton can do one.

Hmm, looking at West Ham's fixtures feel it could go either way. Leeds (H) on the final day worries me - they'll v.likely be safe by then and in beach/party mode.

I think if they don't win against Everton we could be in with a good shout, though. The run of Brentford (fighting for Europe), Woolwich (title) and Newcastle (ok they're shit atm but they are still a decent side on their day) is not easy at all.

I think best case scenario for them is 9-10 points, but think 6-7 is more likely. So if we can get 3 wins I think we likely edge it on goal difference.

Forest's fixtures are the toughest but reckon they'll get at least 4 points and be OK.

West Ham have the hardest last 5 games. Not a doubt. Newcastle away on their penultimate game, and it will be Howe's last. I wouldn't want us to be facing that, and they have that lot at home and Brentford away.

Whatever happens on Saturday we can not afford to lose points to West Ham.

As for predictions why does anyone care what pundits say.

Everton and Moyes will also be a very hard game and Moyes won't go easy on West Ham.

Important to note Everton are also fighting for an EL berth (potentially CL depending on what happens with Villa).

It is a very important match for them.

Conceding in added time in both halves says it's the mentality. It's all about the mentality from this point.

RDZ has had them for two games and they looked worlds different. Although to be fair, there was no sign of a bounce against Sunderland

If we kept our concentration at the end of both halves on Saturday that was a 2-0 to the good, and 3-0 if Xavi / Kolo Miami score that sitter

All three were mental lapses, locking in for the full 90 + any number and we'd be out of the drop zone now.

We are close to form that can save us, in my opinion. It's early moments but I have belief again.

It's still a 50/50, but I have belief again that we can save ourselves. Resignation is off the table for now.
