I go to a lot of Hull games being there myself when spurs ain't on when Hull played Leeds he was on loan there and he was a cut above anyone.

Like you say the championship if a tough league very physical but if someone is prem level they stand out like a sore thumb

If he comes back and we end up playing him he will do well

Burnley in the Championship under Kompany was like watching prime Barca. Just look at that squad and they totally killed the league.

There is simply no ‘it’s a tough league’ excuse for us. If Burnley playing Kompany’s Pepball with that squad can do it we can. All the tough men in the championship couldn’t stop Burnley playing fancy football and destroying them and they did it with Tel level players at best. We have zero excuse.

Probably because they like us didn't think he was good enough for the PL, if we go down we need to come straight back , we are bound to sell some of the current squad to cut costs and Solomon is like a freebie , no transfer cost and not massive wages and Championship proven regardless of his politics.

The 26-year-old winger spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Leeds United in the Championship and registered 22 goal contributions (10 goals, 12 assists) in 39 league appearances.
Yeah given how rubbish we are on the LW, Solomon would be a really decent option in the Champ. I'd basically forgotten he even existed tbh - has been such a nonentity at Spurs for years now.

I think the key thing for us will be having squad balance and the right coach. We've already got the latter part in De Zerbi, but as we've seen this season, if you don't have the constituent parts to put together a coherent team, it doesn't matter how good some of your individuals are.

Burnley were smart and constructed a balanced team using the loan market that suited Kompany's style and we should easily be able to put together a team twice as good. The issue is having the right people in charge of recruitment, squad building and team management - and we've been desperately lacking in all of those areas.

Well yes the most important thing is the sporting director and getting that idiot Lange out the fucking door.

Wasn't there a bit of a backlash to tweets he posted before we sent him on loan?

I assume reintegrating him into the squad next season would be met with public statements from one fan group or another.

Would this affect anything do you think?

There's also no reason/excuse for a club of Spurs size to be relegated from the PL, but here we are...

Apparently Solomon is on a obligation to buy loan so he isn't coming back , his Leeds Championship figures were impressive though lets hope if we do go down, Moore, Tel or Odobert can do the same.

Dunno if it's at all reliable but apparently some Italian outlet are saying we had an £8.7m option on his loan and they were keen to activate it initially but his injury issues are putting them off.

Ideally it's an obligation but feel like that would've been more widely reported if it was the case?
