An argument can be made that De Zerbi pulling Spurs to safety would be a more impressive feat than Ange winning the Europa League.

Easily true. How anyone can look at Forest being where they are and in the semi finals with Villa and STILL not get how easy the EL is for English teams right now I don’t know.

If an English team takes Europa seriously - they have an amazing chance to win it. They likely are better than all non English sides in it by default.

Fair argument but the smart, handsome, people amongst the Spurs fanbase all know that winning the Europa League AND staying in the Premier League is the true benchmark of greatness. 😎

A good piece of evidence for your position would be if the most recent Europa final had been between two bottom-scraping English clubs, and if the quality of the football in it had been a genuine assault on the senses

We wouldn't be fighting it, we'd have succumbed to it already.

The rot started with him, continued with Frank and the Tudor decisions was ludicrous. Ange and Frank are equally culpable for our current plight.
Nah. Last year was shit in the league/cups yeah but that is exactly the point.

If he had started the season, then he would have been sacked much sooner than Frank was if results continued to match last season's.

He had less rope so it was start off well or get sacked. The moment we had a run of shit performances, he'd have been gone and we'd have moved on before Christmas.

We'd have been fine but for Frank.

Ah I see what you're saying. In which case, yeah it's a good point, if he'd hung around he probably would have been sacked a lot quicker than Frank was and we'd have moved on to a proper manager earlier in the season.

Can't really blame Frank for not being sacked quick enough though. That's all on the bellends running the club.

I'm afraid the evidence doesn't really stack up.

Firstly it must be reiterated that the MAIN cause of our problems in the last two years has been a never ending injury crisis. Both managers suffered this bad luck BUT it was particularly acute in the case of the 24/25 season because we can easily see the statistical effect of the injuries.

But - and I'm repeating myself here but I'll continue to do so while people like you continue to peddle falsehoods - after Match Day 12 of the 24/25 season Spurs were in 6th place, 4 points off 2nd, with a GD of +14.

30 minutes later it was announced Vicario had busted his foot. He would join Romero, Van De Ven and Udogie on the side lines. None of them would appear much again for the next three months. Up until that point Tottenham's xG and xGA was Top5 quality and considerably better than anything Frank got close to in his time at Spurs.

When the first choice Back 5 returned in March 2025 they never once played together in the League - however they did play together in Europa League where they went 4 wins 1 Draw and won the competition.

Postecoglou's record with his first choice Back 5 was Top 5/6 points wise. Frank had that Back 5 available for most of his time. We did not at any stage look like a Top 6 side, and our underlying metrics never had us above a bottom half side.

There is no comparison. You are peddling rubbish. I know you need to believe it but it's simply not true.
