If we hadn’t done our Dr Tottenham routine and gifted Spammers that winner, they were gone. If you look at a form table of 12 games since that fateful day, Spammers are 6th on 19 points, 5 wins, 4 draws, 3 defeats from 12. Surprise, surprise, we are bottom of the form table over last 12 games with 4 points

We should have sacked Frank after that Spammers game, got a proper grown up manager in then, rather than faffing around for two and a half months until early April to get De Zebri in.

Completely agree about the sliding doors moment; but who realistically, if they were being completely honest; would have predicted the situation we’re in now .

It’s madness , or at least the result of madness.

They're on the beach. The only team we have left on the beach are Leeds and even then, they might want another result to just to make sure.

West Ham by contrast have Newcastle and Leeds (last day), that don't have anything to play for. Could make all the difference.
 
We didn't beat West Ham, Newcastle, Palace and Forest in home games this year. Those sides were all in really poor form coming to us and have been average after us and we couldn't even muster 2-3 points from them which would have us in a much healthier position right now. Shambolic stuff.
 
If we don’t end the winless 15 game run at bottom of the table Wolves tomorrow, we are 100% down. Simply nothing more to discuss on the subject. I’m not exactly brimming with confidence that we will, but on balance, I do feel we’ll just about eke out the win.

If we win at Wolves, and Spammers fail to win, we are out of relegation places. That would be a big psychological boost. I’ll be very worried though if Spammers beat Everton.

As unexpected it was for Forest to put five past Sunderland this evening; we’ll surpass that by gering a jammy 1 nil tomorrow.
