Management Why are the club not calling out the PGMOL?

This has been absolutely pissing me off all season, theres one thing being completely shafted by referees and the PGMOL because no one can deny we have, but not once has this club ever actually gone on record and officially complained to them because we are more than WELL within our rights to do so!

Off the top of my head this season an abnormal list of shit decisions have gone against us:
  • Bentancur pen for 'holding' against Newcastle
  • Trafford not getting a red for booting Kudus in the chest
  • Goal ruled out against West Ham for a "foul' by VdV for a push
  • Xavi red card against Liverpool (seen others get away with it)
  • Ekitike 2 handed push on Romero - no foul
  • VdV denied clear pen against Bournemouth
  • Muani push on Gabriel - foul
  • VAR ignoring a handball against West Ham when they beat us 2-1
  • Dragusin pushed by Jiminez in the air - no foul
  • Rodri somehow managing to stay on the pitch in the 2-2
  • Sangare high foot foul on Gray that caused him an injury - no red
  • Brobbey injuring 2 of our players, no punishment
  • Two footed tackle from Andre on Bissouma
Don't get me started on our foul to card ratio being the worst in the league by a distance and the fact that we have received a grand total of 0 pens this season.

Some of these are subjective calls that could go either way but when you see other teams and players get away with it then that is grounds to at least start asking questions.

The only time we got anywhere near to complaining was when we 'raised concerns' and politely asked them for clarification of the rules after Dragusin got pushed in the air only for them to blank us and charge Tudor for his comments, what?!

What’s really frustrating is the lack of pushback. Whether it’s Vinai, Lange, or others behind the scenes, it just feels like there’s no real stance being taken. Week after week, decisions go against us, and there’s no strong response, no pressure applied, just silence.

You can see why some fans are starting to question whether the people at the top are actually doing enough to protect the club and are in fact self sabotaging because I can't explain why you'd just sit on your arse and do fuck all and not actually be outraged at the fact that your club is being treated unfairly.

PGMOL are cunts but the higher ups are bigger cunts for not calling this shit out.

Club is soft. Woolwich and Liverpool would make a song and a dance about it.

It's been going on for years. It's also a big reason why we get so many injuries. Other clubs are allowed to get away with nasty challenges on our players, compared to what our players are allowed to do back. It's so painfully obvious to see every game.

The PGMOL and media are dominated by Woolwich, Man United and Liverpool fans, that's why those teams always get more decisions go their way. Who do Spurs have fighting their corner in the media? Glen Hoddle, who even we have to admit, is a bit of a weirdo.

If nobody else is going to stand up for the club, against the like of G Neville, Carragher, Keown, Parlour and all the other ex pros of other clubs, then unfortunately there's always going to be a bias against us. Not to bang on about Ange again, but it least he did stand up for the club and push back. We desperately need a manager that does that.

You have to add that Spam hand ball yesterday.

The one angle that's was all over social media is ridiculous. His hand shouldn't have even been where it was so how they got away with not giving a pen is madness.

I don't even care about whether they then miss the pen, score the pen, whether Spam use it to rally and still win.

The fact they looked at that incident in isolation and didn't give a penalty is a damning indictment of their competency.

I get it but that's Everton's issue not ours, I'm only including the incidents in our matches because they are the ones we have the power to call out.

Yeah but there's no harm in calling out decisions that closely affect us too.

What I will say is that if the club were ever gonna do it, they need to do it now. Raise issues now and make them think twice for the remaining fixtures. Do it after relegation and it just seems like sour grapes.

Nothing will get said though. Ange called it out and he was dismissed by our own as a fat grumpy bloke.

Either way, the refereeing is so shocking that every club could probably come up with a list like ours. The best thing we can do is play better and well enough to make shocking decisions irrelevant to our survival.

Well said. Something is evidently not right.

I guess the only balance I might offer is a comparator of poor decisions that other clubs may have been on the end of, to see how much worse our experience is.

Yesterday's yellow was astonishing. Clear potential for a leg break.

They're not calling it out the same reason:

*We look like we are keeping a DOF who is in the process of relegating us and flat out refused to help our situation out in January.

* Hired someone to run our football club that is an Woolwich fan and didn't even do a good job at his previous club.

* Sold Heung Min Son in the summer and decided he didn't need replacing in the summer or January.

* Knew Solanke, Maddison and Kulusevksi were going to miss a large chunk of the season (whilst selling Son) and decided Kudus and an untried kid would be sufficient enough to replace those 4.

* Saw Tel play shit last season and decided we will spend 40m on him even though it wasn't an obligation.

* Brought Tudor in when De Zerbi was available and then after 7 games decided "maybe we should go big on De Zerbi now.

* Decided it's a good idea to randomly have 2 director of footballs working together which results in beef and one quitting, then......decide 2 director of footballs is a good way to go again.

* Put a 4m release clause on a player that wasn't needed as the loaning club would have loaned him anyway.

* Sell Brennan Johnson in January, then see kudus get injured 7th Jan...then still not being anyone in.

It's so corrupt it's unreal and people are questioning why we don't question getting absolutely conned on a weekly basis, maybe because it benefits the people up top.

Everything points to sabotage but what is the actual motivation for powers that be to see us relegated?

Financial sustainability? A reason to sell of our players and be somewhat justified in doing so. Selling off players and generating immediate cash flow without anyone batting an eyelid because we are relegated and the expectation is we sell players.

I think thats part of it but there something more sinister at play which I can't explain. Something that benefits the people up top financially.

We lose around £250m if we go down though through TV money, sponsorship money, gate receipts will be less this time around and no European football.

If they wanted immediate cash flow then they could sell off our players if we stayed in the league regardless, also this is at a risk if we come straight back up next season which is by no means a guarantee at all.
