I know he has had (rightly) some critics for performances this season, but I genuinely believe he is a quality player that would have exploded under a proper manager.
And in the short term, make no mistake, this injury could be the final nail in our coffin.
Our last possible bit of creativity, spark, bit of magic out of nothing, is gone now. We need to pray that Maddison can start playing soon but going by De Zerbi’s comments on him that looks unlikely too.

Just mental. Never seen anything like it. It's not even brutal challenges most of the time - our players bodies' seem to be imploding every time there's a stiff breeze.

At this point, I don't know what to think anymore. Players don't suffer minor injuries and are only sidelined for a few weeks. They get seriously injured and are out for months!
Spurs have been hit harder than most teams by injuries. But I think most teams are running into problems related to overuse and lack of recovery time driven by the schedule. Teams want to play the high line and be aggressive pressing, but with the number of games they play you can't unless you have the squad depth to really closely manage time. Spurs don't and I believe that, more than training methods, is likely the key issue driving the injuries.
Get rid of the League Cup, its pointless.
