You do know we qualified for Europe under Ange, in both of his seasons, right? When you accept to be shit for 4 seasons you can bet we won't play European competitions to attract the star players, a manager like Ange need for his game...

I think he meant Champions League because Europa League isn't a magnet for star players, and by the time we played or signed players whist being in the Champions League Postecoglou was gone. So there wasn't a star attraction during Postecoglou's tenure ''for his game''.You do know we qualified for Europe under Ange, in both of his seasons, right?

If the management had backed him with the players he wanted, we could of won the UEL cup and finished a lot higher in EPL.When you accept to be shit for 4 seasons you can bet we won't play European competitions to attract the star players, a manager like Ange need for his game...
So which Champion's League club will Sir Ange be managing next year? Surely they are all competing for his services
This schtick continues to be not funny. So which Champion's League club will Sir Ange be managing next year? Surely they are all competing for his services
Surely there must be a Greek side on his CV before he retires.
It was a lack of competent, experienced players during the 2nd season injury debacle that was Ange's downfall.

Well if you keep speaking it into existence like that you never know...![]()
This schtick continues to be not funny.
Does bump the thread though, so a silver lining at least.

Uh yeah like I said he was stubborn so it's to do with himself and the players...
The only comparison I have made is style of play, not achievements.
Kompany got a team relegated playing the exact same tactics he's playing now earning similar PPG that Ange got yet he's on the verge of a CL final, what does that tell you?
It's not science.
A lot of managers if given everything they require to implement their ideal way of playing will succeed - that's not really what being a good manager is about. Being a manager is about... managing the situations you find yourself in.
He was for Burnley. Because he didn’t adapt. So as I keep saying Vincent Kompany ideology got Burnley relegated, he didn't adapt to his players and then ended up at Bayern, is he a crap manager then?

I don't think it can be that black & white. Burnley would likely get relegated regardless of what style of play they adopt.
