I think he meant Champions League because Europa League isn't a magnet for star players, and by the time we played or signed players whist being in the Champions League Postecoglou was gone. So there wasn't a star attraction during Postecoglou's tenure ''for his game''.
Competitions aren't a magnet for star players, money is the magnet.
If the management had backed him with the players he wanted, we could of won the UEL cup and finished a lot higher in EPL.
It was a lack of competent, experienced players during the 2nd season injury debacle that was Ange's downfall.
So which Champion's League club will Sir Ange be managing next year? Surely they are all competing for his services

A lot of managers if given everything they require to implement their ideal way of playing will succeed - that's not really what being a good manager is about. Being a manager is about... managing the situations you find yourself in.

I don't think it can be that black & white. Burnley would likely get relegated regardless of what style of play they adopt.
