He’s Mr West Ham and I don’t think he’d sully that by coming to us. There are plenty of clubs who’d go for him I think. He’s also 30 this year and is a player who’s relied on a burst of pace.

I think it would be a pity to lose Sarr but assuming Gallagher starts then it should be one of Bergvall and Sarr. We probably don’t have enough games to give minutes to both.

One of VdV and Romero will go, maybe both. I think it might be the right time to get rid of the sideshow that comes with Romero anyway, we need a more stable presence there.
Left back is a must?m, and as much as I vouched for him in January, I think we should be looking for someone in their prime rather than Robertson. We need a first choice for that position, not someone second rate or past their best. Udogie can’t be relied upon to stay fit, so we need someone like Nathaniel Brown, Antonee Robinson or Truffert at Bournemouth, and if Udogie has to compete with them, so be it.
Centre mid is obvious. We need someone that can pass the fucking ball in there. Locatelli gets my vote, right age, played at a big club and knows De Zerbi extremely well. I also wouldn’t mind Baleba to partner him, his pricetag should be lower given the season he’s had, but the potential’s there.
Both wings need sorted as I stated earlier. Bowen and Mitoma would be my choice. And we’ll probably need a number 10, even though we have 3 already. Maybe back in for MGW?
A striker’s tough, there’s none out there that immediately come to mind.

I wouldn’t worry. He’ll be a nailed on starter by 2 months of next season when Romero goes. The way we’re gonna set up under De Zerbi having that guy who wins all the duels from long balls that teams will have to play when we press will be priceless.

Will do good to remember that Spurs will NOT have European football next season. So arguably, don't need such a large squad. However, with Spurs injury record - we would still need 50 players! lol.
Even with a fully fit squad, it is clear where the squad is poor.
Odobert, Tel, Solanke, Richy, Kudus - Not sure you can get an elite front 3 out of that lot. Makes it even worse when you realize that 262 MILLION was spent to build that attack.
Di Zerbi seems to favour the 4-2-3-1 formation, with inverted full backs. If (big IF) Kulu comes back fully fit - I suspect, we build the squad around him (as Conte did).

The Championship would mean 46 league games. With decent cup runs and maybe play off matches it wouldn’t be a big difference.

Fuck his brother,his family and Hamburg. He was happy enough to sign with Tottenham so get him back and get him in the team. I’ve watched so many of Hamburg’s games because of him and he’s on another level from any centre back playing in the Bundesliga right now. The one thing that was aimed at him was that he wasn’t the quickest but I’ve not seen anyone do him for pace.
