Udogie can’t be relied upon to stay fit, so we need someone like Nathaniel Brown, Antonee Robinson or Truffert at Bournemouth, and if Udogie has to compete with them, so be it.

Centre mid is obvious. We need someone that can pass the fucking ball in there. Locatelli gets my vote, right age, played at a big club and knows De Zerbi extremely well. I also wouldn’t mind Baleba to partner him, his pricetag should be lower given the season he’s had, but the potential’s there.

Both wings need sorted as I stated earlier. Bowen and Mitoma would be my choice. And we’ll probably need a number 10, even though we have 3 already. Maybe back in for MGW?

A striker’s tough, there’s none out there that immediately come to mind.

They would demand insane money for MGW, especially if they have champs league. They already want 140m for anderson. We cant go and spent a hug lump sum of money on another 10 when we technically have 2-3 already.

In regards to cm I agree it needs upgrading, Locatelli in there along along side bentacur who looks quality under de zebi. Biss is going, Sarr would need to be sold and we have Gray and Bergvall to think about.
 
I think we need:

- a new GK
- possibly a top LB
- sign JP
- a top no9

The rest depends in part on whether one or both of Madders and Kulu can ever get back to where they were.

Our MF is looking quite good if we have one of Madders or Kulu, though someone in the Guimares type mould would improve the team.
 
If we stay up
Sell Vic, Romero, VDV, Porro, Dragusin, Spence (if any takers), Richy, Solanke,
Out of contract and do not renew - Davies, Biss
If no takers, just release Spence.
Do not take up option on Palhinha unless the asking price is dropped significantly from 30m euros
Goodbye RKM
Bring back Phillips, Vuskovic, Moore, Devine, Solomon and Lankshear and put them in first team squad to cover the 3/4 players that are either recovering from an ACL or who will pick up an ACL in preseason
Do not go anywhere near Rashford
Don't buy Kim from Bayern - he will be smashed up in the PL.
Don't buy any Chav rejects
Add Senesi plus another CB, Robertson, Verbruggen, and go all out for Osimhen even if he wants 300k a week.
Don't need a big squad. Not in Europe.

If they get CL then obviously it’s a non-starter, I doubt the player himself would even be interested, but hopefully Villa can get past them on Thursday.

The problem is, the three #10’s we have are all out with very serious knee injuries. We don’t know how Maddison will be when he comes back, Xavi won’t be back until at least January/February and even all going well, probably won’t get up to speed until the season’s nearly done. Kulu we still don’t have a scooby whether he will even come back, his sounds something very sinister and career threatening.

Regardless of how many we already have on the books, we’re gonna need to get at least one more.

The solution is to sign a 6 and LW who are both creative types. That way we have the option to play Gallagher or Maddison at 10, and still have creativity from other areas when we choose Gallagher.

We have gallagher too. You cant just go out and spend 100m on a player who plays in 1 position when you already have 3. Plus we have to very good youth coming through at 10. It would be terrible squad building.

1 or 2 years and Mitoma and Bowen will be like Robertson…..not in their prime.

This isnt football manager, you dont sell both your Rbs, your captain and your other starting cb, both your strikers, then rely on a bunch of youth whove done ok in the championship on loan, 1 winger who is clearly never gonna play for spurs again and is insanely injury prone.

Vuskovic will stay and play a season with his brother, Philiips will never make it at spurs and moore needs to continue to start week in week, likely in the championship.

I'd keep Solanke, and go for a more rounded footballer than Osimhen, not just a goal scorer, but a player who can also contribute more in open play.

Pledge commitment to him for the long term. Extend then keep him in Germany for another year.

Prodigy or not; he's still extremely young for a starting CB for a club that aspires to be top 6 EPL again.

Replace Romero with a senior 'now' option in the summer; someone who can be a proper mentor to VDV.

Danso + 1 as backup.

Then all goes well, back into Europe the season after (*) and Vusko can debut for us with plenty of gametime to go around.

If we stay up, from all the rumors it's almost certain that we'll sign Senesi. That will be the senior CB alongside VDV. I've always said Vuskovic can stay one more year if he extends the contract.
