How Tottenham could line up next season if they stay up with bumper contract for wonderkid, 19, to fend off Euro giants

Poor - relegation again ole ole

Crazy to sell two players that aren't good enough? You've had 3 years to watch the pair of them, what have they done in 3 years? At least Porro has shown decent ability in that time and shown that he can play and look like someone who can actually play football. Udogie cant even stay fit, complete waste of resources.
Udogie has decent ability but can’t stay fit. Not unusual for a young player to take a few years to build resilience and learn his body but last chance salooon. I would give him another year alongside a new first team rival left back

I think if Spence got a run in the side at right back with a consistent right winger and right sided midfielder, he’d be better than Porro. He can properly defend for starters

For me the issues with Spence are more around his commitment and attitude than his ability.

He played out of his skin when he first got into the team under Ange but hasn't come close to those levels since. He's got so much talent but strikes me as a player that's coasting a little and doesn't always give everything for the team the way some other players do.

RDZ is a manager that demands passion and drive from his players and I don't think it's a coincidence he's chosen Porro over Spence at every opportunity. Porro has his issues but I've never doubted his commitment and he played really well vs Villa.

I can’t see it. He ambles out to wingers. Lazily hangs a leg out as a token effort to stop crosses. He’s got pace but the thing with Spence is if he takes it off someone he fucks about with it, head down, blind alleys, doesn’t play passes at the right time. He gets boxed in down the sideline. Maybe he improves under De Zerbi but I can see him out the door.

Porro has been awful defensively this season but against Villa he improved a lot in that area. Looks like he’s been told to get tighter and be more aggressive closing down.

Have to admit I wasn't overly sure about RDZ taking over. I have been really surprised by the uptick in performance by a number of players though. Better organised, a clear plan, players looking focused.
Amazing the difference a change in formation and style has made to some players abilities to fit a system.

Think some of you are getting ahead of yourselves. 3 games back we were still at the phase of 'fuck these players these whole lot, just sell them'.

Win over Leeds first. De Zerbi must know the importance of this game and not distracted by all these rumours and agendas circulating around.

Nothing is done of course. But with the unity and leadership we have and the likelihood of Leeds being confirmed safe before the game I can’t see us not getting what we need on Monday.

You’ve created some weird fiction about Udogie in your own head. We always look better when he plays. His fitness is of course a worry, but I want to see him have a season with an actual competent management team and with a proper LB who can rotate and take some minutes off him too.

Ive said before, Spence has everything needed o be a top top level full back

Except the bit between the ears

At this point I dont think he ever will, would be happy for him to move on - on the basis we replace him properly

Accept what you are saying but maybe a pre season with RDZ would do the trick as he has shown signs of ability as have a few others!

Not many players would progress under Frank and Ange!

Not going to judge players for looking like shite under Ange, Frank and the ultimate clown show Igor. Most of us have worked for shite bosses that demotivate and get the worst from their team …So trust RDZ to motivate and give proper instructions to our players and sell those not good enough.

He has had so many chances, so many opportunities, and basically Bissouma'd every one

At this point I dont think thatll change

A shame, because we can see the player he could be...
