2009-11 (pre-injury) Huddlestone was way more mobile than given credit for. Also read the game extremely well. It was why Redknapp could get away with playing him in a midfield pairing, whether it was Modric, jenas or Palacios.He can pass. He’s on another level to Garner as a midfielder. Fernandes is good but he’s got a bit of everything too.
Get good players first, secondly, that can handle the ball under pressure. I don’t want players that can just do one thing because footballs a game that you get tested on the other stuff too.
