Just getting ready to leave for the game . As much as I want to stay in the PL , I wouldn't want it to be by 1pt after last nights debacle . So tonight is important to win and win convincingly . I think RDZ has come in and got the players believing and fighting for the cause . I hope we don't get any more injuries , the sick bay is already full . We've got a game to win tonight and I will certainly be the 12th man . So come on everybody get behind the team and Up The Spurs

Fucking hell, that's early. Aren't you working?

Saying that I'm sitting at work reading this thread 😂. Think I'll leave in an hour!

Got a horrible feeling and I pray I'm wrong that we are going to get properly shafted by officials tonight.

And then the media is going to be "Justice for West Ham yesterday"

They are already queing up this narrative.

As if somehow we wanted West Ham to be robbed of a well deserved point yesterday from the scum, I certainly didn't.
From what I have seen it was not West Ham robbed as the correct decision was made. It was more that Woolwich were lucky and did not deserve that decision because of the skulduggery they have been getting away with all season. The non foul on Gabriel leading to our goal against them being disallowed was much worse and that goal should have been given

From the BBC
'We have seen pushing, shoving, grabbing and pulling on corners all season. Goalkeepers have been pressurised and harried too.

Woolwich have been the kings of it, crowding and surrounding goalkeepers at corners, finding ways to create space and score goals from set-pieces.

That they benefit from it in such a decisive way won't be lost on some.

Is this different? Crucially, it was.

It is hard to argue that the Spain international was not impeded. Without the foul contact by Pablo, Raya would surely have had a simple catch.

Pablo had his arm across Raya and he was holding on to the goalkeeper's left arm.'

Hopefully it will lead to Woolwich getting bad decisions in the next 2 games but I would not count on it.

Have been feeling Tom Dick since I woke up this morning, and will feel like that all evening.
Why oh why didn't I be like all my other friends and not give a monkey's about football. I used to believe that the joys have outweighed the angst and misery, but not so sure anymore, especially this season.
Ah well, off to the Lane I go.

Like with Villa, I expect we'll see within the first 5 minutes whether Leeds are 'up for it' or not. Hopefully the Spammer result yesterday means they're less inclined to battle - but it cuts both ways with West Ham facing Leeds on the final day while we're up against an Everton side still fighting for a European place.

I think we need to win this, and then depends on the Newcastle vs Spammer game as to whether we need one more after that. I can see 43pts being needed to stay up, with West Ham equalling their 42 points relegation season total from 2003.

My personal horror scenario is west ham staying up by goal difference which is still possible if we lose heavily vs Chelsea

Spurs vs leeds 1-0
Chelsea vs Spurs 6-0
Spurs vs Everton 0-3

Newcastle vs west ham 0-2
West ham vs leeds 0-0

In that scenario both teams have gd-17 but Spurs stay up because they scored more goals.
But anything worse than that and we go down.

So even if we beat leeds, I will still be nervous until west ham lose vs newcastle.
If they get a point at newcastle it's still not over.
No chance, yes we could lose both games but no way if we beat Leeds are we going to capitulate to one of the poorest Chelsea sides in 30 years or against a stodgy Everton side - could see us losing both games by a couple of goals, but not a 6-0

Think if we win tonight we should be in the mood to take on Chelsea of course if the toon beat West Ham it won't matter but we need to win tonight obviously ,we draw think we are bang in trouble again .

Read a report earlier saying Howe is leaving out players who might be off in the summer.

Tough one if they are good players. Notably Gordon left on the bench at the weekend. Trippier on the bench, Lb played RB and so Dan Burn was put at left back!!

Maybe Eddie has realised some players aren’t listening to him.
Have they checked out already so not giving 100% and won’t again?
Or he gives them one last home game to say goodbye and they do give 100%??

Or play the team who give a shit and want to cement a place in the team next season?

Hopefully the geordie crowd pushes them over the line.

This game is going to be a lot harder than people think. Leeds are not going to be a push over.

Getting the win would give us some daylight, between us and Spam, but it all depends on what Spurs team turns up.

Fingers crossed we'll all be happy tonight.
