We’ve had to rely on a terrible set of attackers for half a season. If we do go down that will be the reason. The hierarchy thought that Tel and Muani were PL players. Even with everyone else crocked they still believed those two were good enough. Everything about this situation comes down to the January window. That was when we needed to save ourselves.

We just looked so knackered last night, especially from about 60 minutes. We're compensating from our lack of forward threat and creativity by pressing and working hard which is an improvement from where we were but it isnt going to work every week. The pitiful front 3 just give the rest of the team no respite.

Funnily enough I don't think that Chelsea match is a guaranteed loss like everyone is satint it is, they will look to try and play football and we will need to press and outwork them especially after their cup final - we are not a good footballing team but we are good at pressing and winning the ball back in the opponent's half, need to make the most out of that.

Hammers will get at least a point against Newcastle and they will definitely beat Leeds at home so that's 4 points. Leeds were already on the beach last night until we handed them a reason to play.
We'll do our usual and lose at Chelsea and we won't beat Everton at home because they are a better team and have better players & our players have such a weak mentality that they won't cope with the pressure. At best we'll get a draw.

Made this point many times. Our lack of ability even just to hold up the ball means it comes back at us and tires our defence. It affects the entire team.
We can’t simply write off the Chelsea game. Yes they have a hoodoo over us but this is a Chelsea with a temp manager who will have run themselves ragged just a few days prior to playing us in a cup final and we are actually good away. Sure we can lose but we should have the much better legs unlike last night so we need to view it as an opportunity.
