Player Randal Kolo Muani

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He's quite unique actually - our squad seem to be stuffed with players who are either technically capable but have attitude problems or don't try enough, and then other players who give 100% every game but just aren't good enough. RKM manages to achieve both negatives!

I mean you say Muani tried, others that he lacked effort. Both can't be true, surely.

What is indisputable is the absence of the quality we require and thought we were getting.
I’m just saying he ran, he pressed. He gave Struuijk problems when he got some balls in behind. He’s just not a winger. His two seasons actually standing out as a player have been up front and that’s probably where he feels confident.

I really can't imagine it being that much worse if we just stuck Porro or Spence on that wing instead. Spence can beat a man and Porro can put a good cross in at least. Muani at the moment doesn't seem to be capable of either. Anytime he does appear to beat a man he usually just gets the ball taken from him by the next defender anyway or isn't able to put a cross in.

You can always play him as a striker or have him as an option off the bench.

Porro perhaps, but Spence is pretty shit going forward.

We signed a lot of athletes, not many footballers.
I spent years saying this is what would do for us. And now we are here. Runner after runner, its so obvious the technical level is appalling yet after that Villa game people we suggesting a midfeil three of Paulinha Gallagher Bentancur was a viable prospect . This is not a knowledgeable fan base. These are not serious people.

I'd throw Souza up there at this rate, young, quick energetic and can actually beat a man.
That's how desperate we are squad wise right now and RKM has had enough chances.

Love his effort but he was so ineffective last night.

I'm really hoping the rumours of him going back to PSG in the summer are true, think we can do better (if we stay in PL).

The strangest, most erratic, 'is he a professional' to 'what a touch', 'why is he so slow' to 'fuck me he can fairly shift' conundrum of a waste of talent/loan/money player I think I've ever seen.

Soldado looked like more of a goal threat in Lilywhite.

one of my OG things that earnt me a sammyspurs stalking was explaining how Soldado was only missing easy chances because he was finding them.

I think people underestimate how dog turd forwards don't score and yet also don't miss because they're useless at finding space or being in the right place for a rebound.

The main issue with RKM though is that, several times last night - as per usual, he gets in really good 1 vs 1 type opporunities and just gives the ball away. He's like sissoko with none of the other strengths

a lot of bulshit on this thread.
A constant danger for Leeds.
If Richi hadn't skyed an easy volley, it would have have been the assist of the season. Taking the ball down (most of our players dont even HAVE that skill) , beating the defender, sending it to the exact spot that Richi needed to swing his boot and hit it into the net which was almost empty as the keeper was still on the post.
Lots of flick ons too.
RDZ getting a good tune out of this guy.
And if that goal goes in, we're 99% safe.

So, one good thing makes every other bad thing he did ok does it?
We all see the game differently and maybe you think that Kolo is great but that doesn't make anything else "bullshit".

He had one good moment all game and that's not good enough.
