Nothing weird. He's a poor footballer and mainly, his attitude is shocking. He's just robbing a fat wage and that money comes from the fans...may as well spit in our faces direct. But he'd probably hurt his neck and be out for 17 months.

Lol at the tonsillitis and being a proper man though... you've clearly never had it and no way would even our medical staff let a player with an infection play a game due to risk of myocarditis and even risk spreading infection to the rest of the squad.

Tbh he had just one good season at age of 27? What made us shell out £65M for that is a mystery. No other club were after him. Ffs Callum Wilson would have been better. So many players in the PL who have been purchased for a lot less are better. Never mind the top players in Europe who we could gone for.

I played a full match with 40 degree fever once, and 15 mins with a broken ankle another time. Also tore a pec muscle once, didn't tell anybody and still turned up for my team til I was forced to sit out. I'm not superman or anything, loads of players spend their career not 100% fit yet still do the business week in week out. But you've also got wuss anime fans who'll stay home for months cause they clipped a nail too short.

Anyway, convo over. You rate mediocrity and deserve relegation. We don't.

Just having a look at the 21 he got for Bournemouth that season.
A lot came from balls pinging around the 6 yard box. Someone has a shot, hits someone, and it just falls kindly for him.
Some were from pressing the defence and the ball, again, falling kindly.
He has a lot of space in many other cases, because teams didn't play with 10 men behind the ball against Bournemouth. This for me is critical when buying strikers. Did they score 20 goals against parked busses, or on the break in situations that can't be replicated for the buyer?
 
This summer (if we stay up) we need to go all out for a proper no9. No idea who that could be. IMO Solanke is how we part finance that. I'd keep Richie over Solanke tbh. He does add something, but we can only really have two "first team" no9s, and he'd be the one to make way for an upgrade IMO.
 
Im genuinely shocked at how bang fucking average he is,I never paid him any attention to him but a few decent posters on the forum said he was good... Its like this club seems clueless, the striker market is horrible but damn he is a very expensive 50 million player. No way should he be that teir, Bournemouth must have laughter so hard when that money hit their account.

I'm not a great fan and was against his signing, not on his ability as such but his mentality.

The move to us was always a step too high in my opinion but we need him for the last 2 games.
