Club Come here to laugh at the Fascist, Failing Chavs

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Most annoying thing is you just know they'll play their best game of the season against us. Palmer's been wank for ages but he'll suddenly score a couple worldies while turds like Garnacho will channel peak Ronaldo for 90 minutes.

I think likely but an FA Cup final 3 days earlier, on what I hope is a hot day will take it out of them. No doubt at all.

Hopefully the game is an irrelevance.

Seems like they are chasing Alonso as first choice and Iriola as an option.

Both very interesting in different ways obviously.
Just don't see why Alonso goes there unless they commit to changing their model or make some serious concessions. Same for Fabregas.

It's clearly not been working so wouldn't be a surprise if they do change things, but a manager like Alonso will want at least some degree of influence/control over transfers and not be strongarmed by his superiors like Enzo and Rosenior were.

Iraola has less credit in the bank so would presumably be less demanding. I think he'd do well there next season given they likely won't have Europe but questions marks remain around how he'd handle juggling midweek games given how intense and chaotic his style is.

I think fabregas is nailed on to go there. Hope he does in a way, makes it a little less likely he tips up at the scum.

Fabregas seems to be the darling of of the internet and the hipster god of football coaching. He had a transfers spend of a hundred million on players, net for the season, finishes about 6th . 100m is high for serie a, where clubs struggle for money atm, especially ac milan.
I really hope he makes it to the chavs. There will be some comedy moments especially in defense. I watched the matches against Inter, check the highlights of the matches against , they played proper angeball suicide high press with the offside traps. Inter's coach Chivu seems to be one of those miserable tough guys who doesnt fuck around and it was a mauling.

Because it's a big six club and a lot of money.

Apparently the manager at Chelsea is told which players to play & has very little say in the transfer business ... I cant see a top manager putting up with that kind of bullshit.

Maybe at some point - obviously he has a v.strong connection to the club - but I don't think he'd go there under their current model.

Fabregas is a minority shareholder at Como - he has about as much power there as any manager is liable to have at any club. Why would he give that up to move to Chelsea, a club who have recently parted ways with Poch and Maresca because they refused to give them even the tiniest bit of control over transfers and the direction of the club.

If Fabregas goes anywhere this summer I think it will either be to a big club at the top of their game or a club that gives him a serious project with a fair degree of control. Otherwise he'll just stick around at Como for a few more years and hone his craft at the club where he's literal part-owner.

Imo the only way he goes to Chelsea is if they drop their entire model, start backing managers, buying experienced players and stop being this weird trading portfolio experiment.

It's for this reason I also don't think they'll get Alonso and will likely end up with someone with less experienced like Iraola, or less hyped like Marco Silva.

Alonso for sure is Dipper bound.

Hopefully that’s them checked out mentally for the season.

Look forward to time on the beach dickheads, forget about Tuesday.

If this was us, all the talk would be of Caicedo and Fernandez leaving to play in the Champions League.

In truth Caicedo or Anderson of Forest will be needed by Coty next season if we are talking PL midfielders. Wharton might be technically better than both but Caicedo has a real Fernandinho type presence.

Either way, there is no way all of Palmer, Caicedo and Fernandez are at that wretched club next season unless their new managerial appointment soothes all their stated needs.

What ensures players there now?
