Thanks for posting.

That west ham fan who would take Spurs being relegated over West ham winning an FA Cup or European Cup.... deary me.

I'd take a carabao Cup win over that lot getting relegated. No contest.

I won't be able to stand it if they stay up, can you imagine how smug Danny Dyer is going to be?

No. No. No. Fuck that. Just no.

We had half an hour to score a 2nd goal and didn’t test their keeper once . That’s what we should be pissed off about . I’m still angry at that .
It’s football - it’s ebbs and flows. Good sides maximise their dominance when on top. If Richardson could kick a football, it would have been 2-0 and done. Even top sides can lose control of games and it’s not easy to simply reverse that, gotta kill it when you can

Still fucked off with that Maddison non penalty call and that smug refs face after not giving it. Looked so pleased with himself. Stonewall penalty.

Doesn't mean we would have scored from it, but yep.

One day when someone finds something conspiratorial about this season, or when someone does a thorough statistical breakdown, and reveals the various negative factors against us, there will be very few surprises.

And yet we still don't know the outcome, knocking on the door of game 37.

Yep, Richarlison is the epitome of instinctive finisher. Anything that requires control of a football or something akin to it and Richarlison, who somehow has played a few times for Brazil just flounders.

How the hierarchy of this club can look in their mirrors, and not have seen the abundant need is not even worth getting angry about anymore. And yet they felt fit to sell a player who was able to score goals.

5 months and 16 days into this year, and not a single home PL win says so so much about our lack of attacking quality.

No, that’s the team we are at the moment. It’s a grind. It’s hard to score and even create chances in football normally , let alone with the options we have at the moment. We know the team we are there’s not much to get angry about. Being denied a clear penalty to win it, that’s what we should be pissed off at.

When you have bad football players this is what happens. Margins are fine at this level. How many times this year have we missed a chance to go 2-0 up and instead found ourselves making no further threats and conceding later?

That’s been a problem since before Frank, long before. When we have a lead this group relaxes a bit and it can only end one way

Correct. It's also Newcastle's biggest issue this season. A fcuking big worry.

We saw the difference in getting that 2nd against Villa.

Based on our form and results, I think Wet Spam's result tomorrow will decide our fate. If West Ham win, we'll need a win and a draw from our last two games, because they could beat Leeds at home too. I just hope that's not how it goes as I don't fancy us to get that. Players will be massively nervous too.

If West Ham lose tomorrow, we need one point from two games. That's what makes tomorrow a decider for me, and sadly, the Toons have quite a few players injured.

Nah, just Joe Linton possibly

But Gordon might not feature

We got slammed for wanting to lose against City to deny Arse the league a couple of years back and yet the whole country is on it's knees to see us relegated, every fanbase would give up everything to see us going down...Chelsea fans wanting to lose the FA Cup final just to see us go down, it's mental lol

They will be waiting a long time. As I have said all along, I have been keeping the faith knowing that the lads would deliver and we would not go down. This is just one painful season for us, but we are staying up, learning hard lessons and will be a much stronger side for it next season when we return to our usual culture of being among the big six. Neither did Leeds on Monday...
Didn't stop them from putting in a performance!

I wouldn't be surprised if we both end up drawing our penultimate game, then it still goes to our home games, and Sky get the Final Day Showdown they've been planning for months!
Everyone is gonna play different against us.
Chelsea and Everton will play like prime Barcelona.
Newcastle and Leeds will lay down and die.

We're going to have to work for this.
