He's made plenty of money.

He is a Fluminense guy though, Flamengo's arch rival. That part of it would be unlike Richy.

As much as we need a better player, one can't help but be charmed by what a true football soul he is.
That would be sod's law. We get an amazing offer for him back to his home country and he refuses it on principle.

We could've made a killing for him 2 years back when Saudi came sniffing too, but we had the one Brazilian that would prefer to stay in the PL than take the mega Saudi payday. I respect him for it, but annoying when rivals like Chelsea were getting big Saudi money for their terrible deals like Koulibaly and Felix that would've otherwise screwed them financially.

GK : Trafford
DM: Nico Gonzalez
10: Akliouche

would be a great start.

we still need a LWF and 9 prob also a LB but these guys wouldn't be insane money I don't think.

I dont really see how Spurs get back to being a top 4 club anytime soon. The other clubs are more ambitious, buy better players. Woolwich, City, Utd, Pool etc...Then the chasing pack are really well run with great scouting. Villa's, Brentfords, Brightons, Bournemouths etc are so far ahead of us in terms recruitment.

Then you have the Chelsea and Newcastle with deep pockets that will be looking to correct dreadful summer windows last year.

Spurs have too many shit players on long contracts and the owners are useless.

If the club stays up, they will be mid table next season.

Fucking hell on reflection Thomas Frank was such a failure. Amazing the weird toucher was kept on for so long, so the Gooner and that weird Scandi could try and save face. The oddball should have been sacked after the Chelsea/Goon games in Nov.

Our model is 90/00’s. Back then no good TV money and little in the way of ambitious owners. We could buy cheap from clubs getting relegated or not very good like Carrick and Defoe and grow from that base.

TV money now means even the likes of Brentford have big cash flow so if they get good scouting and management they can buy good players globally. Then add all the owners who have come in for whom the Prem is a status symbol, they don’t need to make a profit, they can just hold an asset.

Finally add a total lack of strategy. We haven’t had a football strategy for ages. We switch from defensive to attacking manager with no plan as to why and where we are going. Most clubs like City or Brentford have a style of play that stays mostly the same if the manager or players leave. We are like a drunk falling in one direction and then the other.

However. The club still has massive revenue, a good sporting director and manager shaping the team could quickly get us at least top 8 again. Wasn’t long ago Villa, Leeds and Forest where in the championship and Villa are going from strength to strength. With good management things can be fixed pretty quick. I don’t think fans appreciate just how poor Levy and Joe and their crap hires have been these last few years.

If you only sign 4 players, make sure they are your spine and that it's a proper solid one.

Goalie, CB, CM, CF - you can't build a serious, competitive team if that essential foundation is weak. Look at what happened with Vicario - Romero - Bissouma/Bentancur - Solanke/Richy.

They gotta have the skills, sure...but they mainly need to be mentality monsters who'll make your average supporting cast better.

Get that right then add 2 or 3 very good players at FB and AM/wings.

Was obvious he wasn’t the right manager. Even before he was appointed imo but definitely after that Chelsea game. The way we played, Two players dismissing him in front of everyone.

And yet Lange’s data model had this cunt first.

I suspect the data model didn’t actually have him first, but like a good Government procurement exercise the cost flipped the final decision and Thomas the Frank Engine was simply cheaper.

What a club.
Imagine if he really was first. The state of them data points Lange selected.

Can we please get them cancers out of our club?
