I think both sets of fans will be fearful and playing various scenarios in their heads.

Yesterday was our first loss in 5, against a team, even when we had far better players we lusually ose to, regardless of circumstance.

We are favourites to stay up, purely on the needs for both teams.

He doesn't need to be open about it but there simply must br significant change.

I think we can buy ourselves out of the Championship, but even that would require quite a turnover of players, because the current squad are damaged beyond repair

Stay-up, and arguably it's an even bigger challenge but one to relish, in some respects.

I agree; cut out the NFA-style gimmicks because they clearly don't work. I'm expecting a wear white email any day now. I've tried it and it doesn't work so I'll wear what I want thank you. Black seems appropriate somehow.

Just sit the players down and tell them in words of less than three syllables that they will get a 50% wage cut if we go down. Hopefully they'll take off their headphones and look up from their Insta for a couple of minutes to listen. And if they think they can just go somewhere else on their current wages forget it; no one will want them.
 
Not having to win, as in not having to force the issue is probably, on the balance of things, good for us.

If Solanke can give us 30 minutrs it means he is back-up if we need a goal but also he can be an outlet if we are protecting a lead. We also have Maddison for some gold dust and calm if required.

Wherever people may be, when in London it's bright but still with that neverending chilly wind, rather us than West Ham at this moment. No doubt at all.

Day 145 will bring reward.
