He’s fucking wank, has a terrible attitude and work rate, can’t stand the man. Doesn’t mean much to be honest, can’t stand the lot of them. I need a new hobby.

I hate them all. He’s fucking wank, has a terrible attitude and work rate, can’t stand the man. Doesn’t mean much to be honest, can’t stand the lot of them. I need a new hobby.
He's total shit.
Just
like it was obvious Vicario was total shit. Udogie I called it in his second season here. He's a terrible player.
Nowhere near good enough.

I don't know if Udogie is sh!t or not and find such comments pretty dumb but I don't think we see a player who looked so promising in his first season to necessarily looking any better today.
In many respects he could be simply a system of wider mediocrity or a player who contributes to the mediocrity. Who knows for certain.
When you look at what Iraola has done at Bornemouth, despite having to sell their best player I am inclined to think that if you find a manager who creates s system that players buy into and are motivated in the right way, talk of individuals becomes less extreme.
I see our biggest failing as having nobody (possibly Maddison apart), who can have one of those days. We used to have 3 or 4, and no team with that number ever funds itself where we are today.
Finally, on Udogie, I think mostly you just want and expect your defenders to defend.
He's a very poor defender, he's poor technically, in possession and he offers nothing going forward.
That is why he's shit.
I've said it before in this thread. Like many in the squad, he's not at the required level. He was a punt from Italy who had proven nothing, he was potential and he's simply failed to live up to it. On top of all that I mentioned, he's also injury prone, so he's a double waste of space.
He's total shit and it's so obvious that... it took you a whole year before you clocked it?He's total shit.

My point is that you can't claim something as incredibly obvious and at the same time also mention that it took you 12 months to see it.What's your point? Are we expected to judge a player immediately? Don't be stupid.
It takes time to assess a player's quality. I think 12 - 18 months is generally enough time to make an assessment.

And also you're just flat out wrong as a bonus.
Udogie's only real problem, and it's a major one, is that he can't stay fit for more than a handful of games. As it is, he barely gets close to being up to full speed, let alone to a point where he can develop and improve.
His starting point, ie the first 12 months more or less, was a decent level. Unfortunately from there he's become a bit of a crock, and also been subjected to some utterly woeful coaching.
I think players only have to breathe these days for some numpty to rate them.I am not wrong though, you are. His only real problem is staying fit? That is untrue. He is objectively a poor player. He's a poor defender, he makes mistakes, he doesn't track runners, he is poor in possession, he is completely ineffective going forwards, he isn't good technically. His touch, his passing, his crossing, none of it is any good.
In fact, please tell me what he is good at.
OK, and why did it take you 12 months to make your mind up then?I am not wrong though, you are. His only real problem is staying fit? That is untrue. He is objectively a poor player.
