Match **** Tottenham Hotspur v Everton 4pm Sunday 24th Of May ****

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

But the cup run and the so called "throwing league games" to get there led to us finishing in our lowest position.
We qualified for the CL and we did try to sign genuine, proven talent. But that talent declined to join a team that, despite being in the CL, finished 17th.
It's all linked. The players we had to settle for were not of a high enough standard.
We're going to have the exact same problem this summer if we stay up. Nobody good wants to join a team that survived by the skin of their teeth.
To me, you focus on finishing as high as possible and if there's enough in the tank for a cup run go for it.
That should always be the priority.
Let's not forget that we're battling WHU who themselves won the Conference league and went deep the next season in the Europa league. It's taken it out of them too.

We HAVE to stop conceding so many free kicks and corners late in games.
Impossible because we have stupid cunts on the pitch that think it’s ok to foul in and around the box.

It's not even fouls a lot of the time, it's just contact. Enough contact for a smarter opponent to make the most of it and, given the reffing, get away with it.
Porro tried it a few times last night and, IIRC, only got one free kick.

Nope sorry, I'm not buying the fact that we won a European Trophy has contributed to where we are now in any way what so ever, the reason players joined United was mainly down to the fact they blow us out the water on wages, I think having Frank in charge didn't help either though, what kind of player wants to play for that wet blanket?

A club of our statue and size should never be fucking off the cups to try and finish higher up the table, we are on of the richestclubs in the world and its about time we started acting like it and as fans we shouldn't be accepting this shite from the owners, if they are not prepared to run us propely and enable us to compete then we should be hounding them out of the club!!

With RDZ as manager players might actually want to come here, but that is only 1 part of the process, if another club is offering 25% more in Wages then 99/100 the agent will be pushing for the player to go else where.

In 2021/22 final day, we needed 1 point to secure CL above arscum. We were at Norwich.

We won 5-0. I was so happy and impressed.. I was worried of the 2-option chances (draw or win). We destroyed Norwich. I know this team is not even close to that team. But the mentality from Conte was impressive. RDZ needs to take that approach.

Out of the gate, attack, attack, attack. Press, press, press. Don't stop running, jumping, chasing, competing. There is no tomorrow. It's the LAST DAY.

That's what we need to do on Sunday. Go out there, score 5 goals, get the 3 points, then go to the beach.

No nerves, no worries, no pressure.

2026 has been absolutely fucking terrible for me on a personal level so far so Sunday is make or break. Trying not to think about the worst case scenario.
You're getting enough well wishes, so rather than add to that, I'll just offer some advice from my own experience and perspective.

Do not allow Spurs to exacerbate your personal issues, and do not rely on Spurs to pick you up if you're in a rough place.

It's just a game and relative to real life stuff it's utterly meaningless, whatever the outcome of Sunday, however it might feel during the 90 and at the final whistle, come August Spurs are going to be kicking off another season of football against someone.

If that happens to be in a lower division then so what, it's an exciting new adventure, in a League that hopefully we'll walk and have fun watching us smash some inferior opposition every week, besides, how much have we really enjoyed following Spurs in the PL over the last few years anyway?

It's not just money with United. It's decades of domination. It's still fresh enough in the minds of players that they're a draw.
We just don't have that. The closest we've ever come to domination was 60 years ago and it wasn't exactly that, was it.
If we'd have focussed on building a squad to stay as high as possible in the PL, we'd probably have inadvertently won a cup or 2.
But we ended up with a squad that won a competition that's barely league one level

Come on , doesn't matter what attitude we or RDZ take , we don't have anywhere near the quality. Didn't we have a front three of Kane ,an on fire Son , and Kulusevski, who was also on fire that season.
