It was really great ; the last game , the next season; and what happened after . Believe me , I and a significant number on here were there for every moment of it .

To repeat ; the last game against LCFC was fucking fantastic imo ( despite going down ) , the next season ditto , what happened next ditto ; but that was then , that was then .
Couldn’t agree more ; but going down in 2026 would be a very different experience.
We did it once and loved every moment of the next season ( and beyond) ; but we can’t justify failure on Sunday by evoking and romanticising about 77-78 .
