Player Cristian Romero

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I got to have lunch with him and watch a game from the old garry mabbut suite in the old ground. A proper gent and spurs through and through. I’d flown into london the night before and had to meet my dad and his business colleagues at the stadium. I went clubbing in brixton with my mate. Slept in his couch. Had a tramp shower and had to buy a polo at the club shop.

My dad met him and said he was lovely but at the time he was going out with some lady from Eastenders and she was a bit wild in company.

Be nice if Sonny was at the ground tomorrow!

Haha no, you are misinterpreting. I wasn't literally saying he was never ever booked, of course he was booked, but it was exceptionally rare for a CB. His displinary record was examplary. One yellow card basically every season is fucking ridiculous. And I believe he was never ever sent off.
When you say never ever sent off, do you mean never ever, or do you mean sometimes?

But no, he was never sent off. Ever.

Aware this is not the right thread but since we're discussing King and his amount of yellow/red cards I had to look it up. 8 yellow cards in 268 Premier League games. 9 yellow cards in 323 games if you're including all cup games and European games. Different times, no VAR and all that but that's actually insane numbers.

Back in London today apparently.

Furthest that he's tracked back all season.
It's a 14 hour flight from Argentina to London and De Zerbi's presser was yesterday, while we have v.recent photos of him at the Belgrano training ground and chumming up with the club president.

There's almost no chance he's jumped on a flight and then immediately got a haircut in London in the past 24 hours, especially given his agent was trying to defend him just yesterday.

Just had a look on reddit and yeah some nerds have confirmed it was 2 weeks ago cos of his son's shoes and the cars outside match an old photo hah. Wtf is he doing shouting out his barber 2 weeks later? Trying to pretend he's in London?

I made some comments about Mr Romero back in October.

The replies / conversations are absolute gold.

Fuck me. How do some of you get on in the real world?? My mind boggles.

Apparently he's come back to London (flew in last night) and will be there now?

Probably the backlash and his agent telling him it wasn't a good look.

Either way, the damage is done.

Yeah he’s shown his true colours, his reputation is in the muck now. We know he doesn’t really give a fuck.

Being shamed into flying back means nothing. That he left in the first place is what matters. He abandoned his team mates before the most important match in the clubs history.

If that’s true, what is the point of that when everyone knows you’re not really there by choice?!

His presence now will only create the drama RDZ was trying to avoid.

Too little, too late!

It's just seems like stupid decision, panic, and then another stupid decision.

This suggests to me that he's probably not got another club yet and he's worried that he might have to play for us next season.

Idiot
