Easy to say in hindsight...I know we should forgive and forget and all that but I really believe that all of the catatastrophile posters who couldn't wait to post things like "We're fucked" should line up to say (1). How glad they are stayed up and (2) How wrong they called it.
Expecting us to be back competing for CL next season is probably a stretch. But we should definitely be expecting to fight for anything from 7th - 11th. Comfortable mid table. And then we can build on that. We’re still miles off.
Our squad is awful. Two 17th place finishes in a row. There’s comfortable 7 or 8 players that I never want to see in a Spurs shirt again.
De Zerbi will need three years or so.
I just want to see us play well at home. That’s it. Mid table mediocrity is fine.
I do remember vividly thinking how things could never get worse than our death march to 17th last season. Of course that was just a one-off and couldn't possibly happen again.Just think people…
We will never have to go through this gruelling process again this season.. the weight has been lifted off.
We can now enjoy the WC this year without thinking were in the championship
And to all the haters who wanted their fairytale of us going down..
UP YOURS!
COYS
Those insufferable dickheads that insisted on posting that shit every other comment for the last 3 months.I know we should forgive and forget and all that but I really believe that all of the catatastrophile posters who couldn't wait to post things like "We're fucked" should line up to say (1). How glad they are stayed up and (2) How wrong they called it.
So we stay up, and people want us to keep the cunts that put us in this position in the first place....I'm not here to fight his corner, I get it, he's pony most of the time in terms of his influence and goal threat, BUT, he gets the ball in the back of the net a decent amount of the time when you consider how often he's injured, etc. Unlike Muani it doesn't feel like we have 9 men on the field. I get it that this is weak sauce but we have to be realistic with our likely level of funds and transition.....
And tbf....we were really fucked. It's truly a minor miracle that De Zerbi pulled it round regardless of what anyone says in hindsight.Easy to say in hindsight...
Everyone is glad we stayed up, but I can't stand people with bs smug attitude... Winning 1 game in 20, no one knew what was going to happen.
So why do you just F off ya self, and put this season behind us.
The great rebuild starts today and let's see if the Lewis kids live up to words...
Oh VV and Lange the Cunt get the sack too.
Why should you dictate where I point my anger? Obviously a huge amount of it goes to the board and the players. But we're never helped by having this tiny but noisy core of 'fans' who are doom-obsessed, actively want the club to fail, and (bollocks to semantics) definitely and undeniably claimed that we were relegated when we weren't, and haven't been. You may laugh it off as semantics, but that kind of unwarranted negativity influences fan bases in a very unhelpful way. You be angry at whatever you want, and I'll direct a little bit of my anger at those anti-Spurs cunts who we would be better off without, if that's ok?Semantics, I'm pretty sure I said it at least once.
What are you trying to prove here?
It's been a shit season and we just squeaked out a last day survival.
Point your anger where It belongs Vinai, Lange and the players
Just what tf are you basing that on?That kehl from dortmund will join imo as sporting director imo. Top appointment imo.
lange looked like he's gone alreadyFor sure, I'll be shocked if Lange especially still has a job here come July
He pulled a rabbit out the hat, which is just a sign of how good he is.And tbf....we were really fucked. It's truly a minor miracle that De Zerbi pulled it round regardless of what anyone says in hindsight.
Exactly what I was thinking
